Superb pictures Martin thankyou. I must make a poit fo visiting this memorial. Hopefully during my stay near Duxford for Flying Legends. I like to try and fit in some of the memorials after the show whilst i’m up there. Last year i only managed Fowlmere and passed Debden.
Is the 355th memorial difficult to get to?
It’s nice to know she’s still got it in her! :D:D
After all those lovely pictures of Ed Russell’s collection at Niagra, i’m going to do a skin pack of all three of his fighters. Bf-109E ‘White 14’, Spitfire MkIX MK912 and Hurricane Mk.II ‘Little Willie’ 😉
I have to do the Messer from scratch but i’ve got the latter two to work from with only minor adjustments. Will hopefully upload by Friday.
Ok, ok! I suppose it’s time to own up! The neighbours were starting to complain anyway, what with me constantly running in 2 RR Griffon engines every Sunday morning…
Yeah… i wish!!! :D:D:D:D
Seriously now, i never realised the situation with these two rare birds. I’m very interested to hear of their whereabouts and how they are progressing, if at all.
Speechless!…
Wonderful pictures of a great collection. Three of the most famous fighters EVER in formation. ooooh i bet that sounded sweeeeeeeet :D:D:D:D
Ta Janie. 🙂
That makes sense – she was still Rasta’d up at Duxford four weeks ago, and I’m not sure whether a full paint strip and repaint would have been feasible since then.
Steve, check out the Plane Sailing Gallery here to view it’s progress from leaving Canada up to it’s recent re-paint. http://catalinabookings.org/gallery.asp
Cheers Trumper, most appreciated! The more traffic the site gets the better. I just hope everyone has as much fun with them as i do making them. 😀
Thanks trumper! I’ve got another one on it’s way….
Well done TFC!
Excellent news! I was so happy I just had to ‘skin’ her for Forgotten Battles/Pacific Fighters!
Again, superb job TFC and all involved, can’t wait to see her. Thanks for the photo’s chaps. 😀
what seems to be the problem, it’s working fine for me

You know i have a picture of myself about your age infront of Susy when she was in O/D colours at Headcorn. Paul Morgan dropped her in to say hi one Sunday and put on the best display i’ve ever seen in a Mustang.
no Taff was there as well, and i spoke to him, what a Pillock! Daz they did try to get up there but beat a retreat due to weather. might try tommorow he said.
???
Might try what tomorrow?
Did you find out about that lovely Buchon of theirs?
lol – you like? :D:D
Nice pictures Stewart, thanks for sharing them. Thats given me an incentive to get the skin of Susy done. Those photos will really help me with code positions ad noseart thanks.
BTW, did you happen to get the latest gen on their Buchon?
Hmmm Greene King IPA:D
