Chocks Away!!
Ok chaps, they’re finally here! I hope you like them.
This is currently the only link to the download site, so be one of the first to aerobat TFC’s MkIV, practice landings in Peter Vachers R4118 or see all 12 airworthy hurricanes in the same sky!
Thanks and enjoy! 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀
Tally Ho!
Uploading now… 😀
Well, the time is nearly upon us…
Ok Chaps, I’ve finished ’em. It’s been tough, but i’m happy with them all now. Below is a little palette i knocked up to show you all 12 of the hurris together. Sorry the quality aint great, but i had to reduce the size dramatically to get it on here.
I should be uploading them tomorrow evening with any luck. I’m too tired now! After all it is 3am in the morning!
Well, hope u enjoy the sneak preview 😀 😀
exerllent looking skins, where are you planning to upload them too?, il2skins.com is the best site but has been down due to hosting problems wherever you put them stick a link here and i for one will download them
how about the mossie, tempest and spit mk 14 when they come out should make for some great skins 🙂
Yes, IL2skins.com is a great site, that’s where have/had all my skins uploaded to. I understand the webmaster, Sharxx, has just moved servers and the site says Version 2 coming soon. All sounds promising.
I do hope to upload them on my own webspace first to give them a trial airing so to speak, then hopefully on to IL2Skins.com when she’s online once again.
As far as the mossie, tempest and mk14 are concerned…. drooooool!!!
The Mossie model looks fantastic, and i understand it’ll be included as AI in the next patch (3.05) along with the Do-335 – hmmm 😉 Lets hope they can get the tempest and spit in too! :diablo:
Guys, thanks again for the kind words. After tonight i shall be twiddling my fingers wondering what to do once i have uploaded this pack. So, i am open to requests! Spits are challenging skins to do, but i have yet do do a Mk.VIII. Tony, bare with me. I have an idea!…. watch this space 😉
This evening for release… i hope!
Hi guys,
Well the skinpack is nearly finished now, i just have to complete HAC and shuttleworth examples then i can box ’em up and ship ’em off! 🙂
meanwhile, here are a few more screens to keep you going till later. i hope you like 😀 …
First few are for Stewart:
As promised…
The recently airworthy R4118 makes it’s virtual debut exclusively here! 😉
Is Over Here available on dvd or has someone got it on tape that they’d copy for me? please please pretty please!
Thanks for the interest guys. I’ve come home from work sometimes not feeling much like hunching in front of the screen messing with photoshop until the early hours of the morning, but when i know at least one other person will get to enjoy the finished product, it makes it a whole lot easier! 😉
Those look stunning
Just a shame there not for FS2004!
I’d love to do them for FS9 if i get a chance but I’m a bit out of touch with the MS series of sims. I have CFS2 and FS2002, but left the CFS2 community for the superior IL2 series, only recently honing my skinning skills. If you can find me a Hurricane for FS9 then i’ll gladly give it a whirl, once i’ve finished this lot though!
Couldn’t post any screenies last night due to a connection problem, will hopefully get some up tonight of R4118 (can’t wait to see the real one!) and some other randoms.

Hey peeps,
Unfortunately i have not been near photoshop in the last couple of days, therefore not spending much needed time completing my skin pack. I do hope to get back on it tonight though and hopefully if all is well, we should be looking at the weekend for the release of the pack.
Currently working on HAC hurricane, hmmm the new scheme has grown on me.
Screenshots here tonight…
Regards,
I’ll try and post some more this evening. It’s proving to be quite time consuming, but it’s somethnig i’ve wanted to do ever since CFS2 first came out. The models however, were never that good back then, but now that we have the Mk.I, IIb and IIc Hurri’s perfectly modelled in Forgotten Battles it has finally made it possible.
I am aiming for a release date of next Wednesday (19th January).

First screenshots alert!
Glad to hear of your interest! To whet your appetite here are the first screenshots showing four of the twelve aircraft that will be in the pack.
The BBMF pair, Jerry Yagens example from the Fighter Factory and RACo’s Black hurri:
Being restored at a secret location ‘somewhere in England’. Should be gracing our skies by Spring ’06. (Horses mouth)
If I tell you anymore I’ll have to kill ya! 😉

Hmmmmmm mmmmmmore hurricanes!!!
Thanks for the information MerlinMagic. I value my life, so i will try not to ask any further questions! 😀
Thanks for your speedy reply Mike.
I did wonder myself. It’s just this piece of text on the Registry that put me off a little bit:
Richard A. Roberts, Billingshurst, Sept. 19, 1994-2002.
– Registered as G-ROBT.
– Restored to airworthy, Suffolk, 1994-2001.
– Flown as P2902/DX-X.
I wonder where they got their information from!
Thanks again
Excellent pictures everybody!
FOO KAA! lol 🙂
p.s. has anyone got any news on AB910? I seem to recall her being involved in a nose over at the end of last years season?
