Thanks for that, but it looks like Legends 2005 may be the last Airshow DVD I do!

Damn shame!! I do hope it isn’t.

P.s Can anyone tell me where’s best to get previous years Leg Ends DVDs/Videos?

Glad to hear the project is still ticking over. I will be buying at least four copies when it comes out, whenever that is!
JDK, i’m sure you’re sick of people saying ‘i can help, let me in!!’ but i work for a large format inkjet printing company, we do mainly posters etc, but if there is anything i can do to help i’m sure i can twiddle a few knobs (so to speak). Maybe leading up to release a small marketing program… just an idea. Good luck with it all, can’t wait!

Excellent, well done to everybody involved. What a truely magnificent example of one of Britains finest. Look forward to seeing her next year. I hope she gets on the circuit, would be nice to have her at Leg Ends. I count Seven airworthy Hurricanes here in Britain now… 7!!!
    Is this correct?

    BBMF x2
    HAC
    TFC
    Shuttleworth
    RACo

That’s great news yak139! I can’t wait to see some piccies. From the photos i’ve seen on Hawker Rest. website i am very impressed. Will be great to have another of these rare birds in the skies of Britain. Especially being a Mk.1 in its authentic personal scheme. Lovely stuff.

For anyone who’d rather not ‘do it themselves’ go to http://www.printbig.co.uk
We use Epson Stylus Pro 10600 printers (they are 44″ wide) and have more materials to print on than you can shake a stick at. Matt, Satin, Gloss, Canvas, Banner, Self Adhesive etc…
I deal with sales and a lot of the production work. It’s top quality Inkjet printing and extremely affordable, also the more you order, the more discount i can offer šŸ˜‰
Our contact details are on the site, give me a call. Just ask for Chris.

I can also send out samples to anyone who wants them. šŸ™‚

P.s. i’m not sure i’m permitted to say the above on this forum. Selling a service? Moderators, please let me know if there is a violation of some sort.

    FROM MOGGY
There is a no advertising rule on the Forum, but I think its spirit is to prevent commercial concerns popping-up just to boost their products. I can’t see that a regular poster telling other forumites that they have a service on offer is an issue.

Unfortunately due to various circumstances, it has been very difficult for me to access this site over the last few months and managed to view this thread on a friends PC.
I have the Biggin 82&83 video which Steve964 so kindly lent out. I’m sorry, but I have not had the best year and certain unexpected events occurred during Spring/Summer time that knocked me off course. I came down with Glandular Fever and had to get through my last year at University mostly in my bedroom. I had completely forgotten about the video I’m afraid. I believe it is in my video box that I have yet to unpack from my move back from Brighton, so it is safe.
As far as I can remember the next person on the list was Eric Mc. At the time I PM’d him asking for his address, but no reply.
Steve, I will post it asap to wherever you wish, be it straight back to you or to the next on the list.
I must apologise for this escapade, I can assure you it was not intentional. To all the members who have yet to see it, i’m sorry for the inconvenience and hopefully you will get a chance in the very near future.

    Once again, my heartfelt apologies.

You gotta love the sound of that DB605. probably the nicest sounding warbird engine around, close competition from the La-9’s Asch and the Centaurus in VR930. hmmmmmmmmm. I’d love to see it over here. imagine Legends next year… Red 7 and RACo’s Buchon do an airfield attack, scramble scramble!!!

    Here’s my beauty

A few of you may be familiar with my Mick Reeves 1/6th scale Spitfire Mk.IXc. Here is a picture to show it’s size, not very well i’m afraid cos the ugly mug propping it up just happens to be about 6′ 5″! But you get the idea. This model is 100% scale in design, perhaps not entirely in detail, but the shape, aspect ratio, wing section, wash out etc is all as per the full size.
How does she fly? absolutely beautifully! šŸ˜€ šŸ˜€ šŸ˜€

    ok here we go…

Seeing as everyone is being so brave, here is my first ever portrait in front of a warbird. The aircraft is of course the (then) TFC P-51D ‘Moose/Candyman’. The photo was taken on a non airshow day around the mid-late eighties. My dad was getting some detailed pictures of the aircraft at the time to aid building a near scratch built 1/6th scale model.

Sounds good to me! (although are you really expecting the ‘109 to make it? šŸ™ )

I remember before legends that the word on the street was if Buchon isn’t ready for then it will definately be ready for biggin hill. And that is the 18th & 19th Sept. Hmmmm. šŸ™ šŸ™ i guess it’s down to all that paperwork yet again. no doubt everyone is working as hard as possible at RACo. šŸ™‚ šŸ™‚
Fellow Breighton reporter Davski, are you with us old boy? if so, is there any heads up on said bird?
