If this is the FF2 then it should work with XP anyway on a normal USB port. But if it is the original, i don’t know… Has it got an oldstyle gaming port then?
Have a search around at http://www.ebuyer.co.uk , they might have something. Service is great and prices are brilliant. I built my PC from them.
If only all problems associated with operating aeroplanes of this kind were that simple to rectify!
Hmm, true. Is RACo running into any troubles then? Would it be anything to do with the Buchon? How is she progressing anyway?
Yes exactly my problem. These are ghastly joysticks – bin it!!!!
i’m gettin a sidewinder FF2, end of story.
If that last bit of information is corect (i hope so) then that’s great news! It just seems to me that there is a lot of speculation, a lot of i heard this, but it wasn’t written here and such. I think the VTS people really need to come forward and update the masses. Or just clarify certain points that people want to know, especially for those of us who have already contributed towards the project.
Autumn 2005. is this feasible? – would be nice.
I will be there both days with a friend and his partner and i will be joined by my father, sister, uncle and his partner on the Sunday!
Will be great to meet up at some point.
Beer tent anyone?! 🙂
USB for the sidewinder FF2
She flies at home once again!
News from our intrepid Breighton reporter, Davski, direct from Avi8.com…
“Spitfire PR Mk XI (PL 965) made it’s first ‘post-reassembly’ flight from Breighton aerodrome this afternoon (Sunday 27th June) – no problems reported. Happily the test flight coincided with the Hurricane’s return from its appearance at Goodwood, culminating in a paired run and break across Breighton’s hallowed turf… not a dry eye in the house! The Spitfire sports it’s original all-over PR blue with additional invasion stripes and looks fantastic. All three Breighton warbirds briefly shared the ramp – photo’s on the RACo website when the films are back from Boots (still on emulsion I’m afraid – sorry!). Attention now turns back to the Buchon – hopefully the fingernails will have grown back by the time that aircraft begins it’s flight test schedule!”
Congratulations to the Breighton team and thanks to Davski for bringing us the news almost immediatly every time.
Lets wish them good luck in completing the Buchon and returning her to the air once more.
Yeah ok ok ok… it was a momentary lapse of reason..
Ok, that was a Pink Floyd album! 😉
It’s funny how when images aren’t very clear. it can cause the human eye to adjust to a false perspective.
Great photos guys. Fantastic!
One thing…
What the hell is that aircraft in the background of the second to last Jumpin Jacques picture? It looks like a USAF B1-B Lancer?!!!
EDIT: LOL! my mistake, it’s obviously some airliner flying from left to right. But at first it looked as though it was something completley different heading towards the camera! (honestly… i’ll resume my medication now… )! 😉
Thanks guys, i thought as much! Such a damn shame! Can any of you suggest alternative joysticks out there on the market that are of equal standard? It seems to me, all the logitech ones are a pile of shi*e.
I will do the TFC one for you. I’ve been meaning to do it for ages, gimme a coupla hours to see what i can do.
Here are a few of my other skins…
Err… The Sukhoi SU26 is designed to take highly stressful manouvers and is one of the most accurate high performance aerobatic aircraft in the world. I think you’ll find that the Yak-3 is not such an aircraft. I personally didn’t call for said pilot to be grounded, but was a little concerned. The flying you see with these aerobatic types are well within their limits. However, i do believe such stunts like the bridge are now forbidden in countries like Lithuania. Although impressive, they are dangerous.
It seemed Danny McQue got low in his Yak demo because of a miscalculation in his base height. He was lucky to have pulled out of it. But these pilots are not doing these manouvers by accident, remember that. They are also performing them in capable highly stressed airframes not second world war fighter aeroplanes. Sorry, that is the difference i’m afraid.
Just my 2p, expecting some teddies now…
Yup, finally got my tickets today. That’s thursday, 1 week and two days after booking them! However, we have had two postmen in the last two weeks. The new guy said there have been a lot of complaints about the previous guy. Oh well, not to worry, i have them now. hmmmmmmmmm 😉
Well, i will be happy when i get my tickets! Its been eight days now. 8 DAYS!! First class post… hmmm … my ar*e!
Not a happy bunny. 😡 😡 😡 😡
(But i still can’t wait to see that P-39!!! 😉 )
p.s. It would be lovely to see Princess Liz on the flightline even if she is only static, but of course flying would be better still!!! please please let it happen!
Run into a bit of a problem…
Last tuesday i spent a large chunk of money online ordering the legends tickets via the IWM website. Great, i thought. First class post, will be here in a few days. Hmmm, now a week later and no sign of them!!!
AAAAAAARRRRGGGHHHH!
Is this normal? i don’t think so. 🙁
