    Another BACON/Flybe related question…

Does anyone know if BA are going to continue their code-share agreement with Flybe on the routes that they took over from BACON, and if not when they are likely to dis-continue it?

Does anyone know if FR will expand out of LGW at all?

I know EasyJet have a substantial base already, but it would be good for Ryanair to add a few more destinations rather than just Dublin, Shannon and Cork…

Does anyone know what happened to one of MYT’s A330 over the last weekend…I believe it was suppose to do LGW-SFB on Friday (20th), but it was delayed, flight was then due to go out on Saturday (21st), but whilst I was at work on the 21st, I saw passengers collecting their luggage with the same flight no. on from the 20th’s flight and ‘SFB’ on the baggage tags in the arrivals hall ()…I can only assume it had developed a technical problem twice, or two different problems in a very short period of time!

Any info would be greatfully appreciated.

Any Widebodied a/c on the FCA2300 going to RHO on the 22nd of august returning on FCA2301 from RHO to Man on the 29th August

Very much doubt you would get to travel on a 767 to RHO, although it has been known to get a widebodied a/c on some short-haul flights, but this is only because they have to use any new long-haul a/c on short-haul routes for a time, before being able to use them properly.

Like LeeMan8 says, expect either an A320 or a B757.

Does FCA have any A321’s based at MAN at all? I know they have some within their fleet (not exactly sure how many), but I think one is currently based at LGW!

A very prudent move it’s better to be safe than sorry

Especially if they plan on flying at 600ft when they are six miles away from the airport like last time…!

Damn…must of been quite scary, but at least it was sorted without further damage to the a/c or loss of life!

I had a spam a week or so ago reportedly from an executor of the estate from someone who dies in a Kenya Airways crash in 2001 asking for my bank details etc etc.

Do people still fall for this crap?

    Steve

    Unfortunatley, yes!

    Hello,

Can someone tell me if there was an aircrash at Birmingham in the UK on January 4th 2002 ?

I have received “SPAM” that has mention of an aircrash there on that date and am curious to know if indeed there was one.

    Thanks
    Alex

Please dont tell me that it also says that one of the victims of the crash has left you a huge sum of money…

I have recieved numerous e-mails of a similar nature and dont believe a word of it, and as you quite rightly said it is a ‘SPAM’ e-mail and should be deleted!

I like it I think the SIA livery looks great on the A380:cool: Cant wait to see the A380 at LHR.

BTW Jon did you get my last PM?

    James:cool:

Must be me then because the more I look at that first picture, the more I dislike the livery…oh well, personal opinions can differ.

Cant wait to see the A380 at LHR.

Agreed. Cant wait to see it at LHR too, even more when it is in Virgin’s or BA’s livery!

BTW Jon did you get my last PM?

Yes, I did get your last PM, many thanks.

    London Gatwick – Lisbon

Very interesting indeed. I do wonder though if this will have any affect on Monarch’s Scheduled (ZB) services to Lisbon from LGW…only time will tell I suppose.

Funchal is an ideal choice for EZY because it is very popular island, and is only served by two main carriers, I think just BA and TAP Air Portugal serve it from London, and then it is also a popular destination for charter airlines and their associated tour operators.

To be honest, I dont like the Singapore livery on the A380. I wonder whether that is because the livery is too big for the aircraft or vice-versa, or maybe it is just this particular image itself…anyone else have the same feeling at all?

Does anyone know what the first flight routing will be, and when will tickets be available for purchase for the first flight from LHR?
