what on earth is “Eporue”? Certainly not in the English dictionary (Or German for that matter)

    LOL.

Sorry, probably should of explained this in my initial post, but it is quite simple to understand…look at it backwards! 😀

    LCC OR Charter?

BTW its not called London Manston no more just Kent International airport manston, KIA-M or just Manston airport or the rare one Ramsgate airport.

    James

If you read my post above, I have stated that I would operate a luxury service, so it defo can’t be a LCC, which means it would have to be charter or scheduled…

Any date after the 11th August should be ok with me, as I will be back from Canada!

I would of said that nowhere is a safer place to sit on an aircraft. If you sit at the front or back you have a danager of the fuselage coming apart, and if you are sat in the middle you are probably likely to be burnt to death from the ensuing fire from the fuel still in the wings!

I don’t have a superstition really, but I always have a slight fear of the cabin suffering a depressurisation, then the oxygen masks fall out and I can’t get mine on properly…thankfully it has not happend so far.

Has anyone be involved in such an incident?

Ok, am bored at the moment, so here’s mine:

My airline would be called: Eporue Airways

    My fleet would consist of:

    5 x Boeing 737-300 (130Y leather seats
    5 x Boeing 757-200 (207Y leather seats)

My airline would be based at London Manston (Kent International) because no other airline currently serves it, and I think it has got potential!

It would serve popular holiday destinations within Europe, and we would offer a luxury full service to completment the price of the fare.

As a beginner, slow your 737 to about 140 knots and set your flaps to full. That should do for now.

Thanks, will try this when I next go on…I know how to do all that, but how can I tell that I am travelling at 140 knots?

Can anyone show me a screenshot as to what to do…?

Cheap? Easy and simple GPS that does the job?

Well, it was only £9.99 brand new, so I thought I would get that and then upgrade to a better edition when I am more confident. I didn’t want to pay a huge amount for the latest software, just incase I didn’t get on with it and ended up not using it…

Yeah, agree with you about them being missed, I loved em when they were Britannia, and now they are calling it Thomsonfly…has no British appeal to it. And the opinions I have heard from recent flyers so far aren’t too positive!

With the thing being as wide as it is maybe you could put some emergency “slides” that go through the floor?

Either that or you could have ‘ejector seats’…lmao. :D:D:diablo:

Personally, I don’t think it will happen cos it does not look aesthetically pleasing, and also would require lots of investment, not only on the aircraft itself, but also for airport improvements to accomodate it!

How on earth could you think an MD-80/90/DC-9 is a VC-10?!! 😮 Tell me you were joking.

I was not joking, but as I have said in previous posts, my aircraft recongition skills are next to useless – sorry! 😮 😮 😮

Well it looks to be an MD-80, but not sure which airline it could be. It could also be a military VC10 as it does not have many markings on it. If it is a VC10, it might be the same one that xpboy saw whilst he was at NCL!

I believe that the last photo would be an RAF VC10 if my memory serves me correct. It would probably been on a personnel flight or an in-flight refuelling flight, but please correct me if I am wrong.

    Anyone else notice?

    Looks good!

    I have just noticed it.

I like it, but don’t like the adverts on the right-hand side, I think that they should at least be ‘aviation related’…knowing how quick the Mods pick us up for straying off-topic or posting non-aviation related things in wrong threads. 😀
