Good luck to all those that will want a refund on their concert ticket/s…:D:diablo:

What a stupid comment to make?!

Come off it, I don’t think it was that stupid if you think about it.

Most of the press/media are even saying how much of a logistical challenge it will be to get people’s money back to them; and indeed if refunds will even be made?!

I can imagine that ticket selling agencies such as Ticketmaster will be inundated with calls regarding the matter.

Two of the best steaks I have had anywhere have been in their business section (Yum,Yum:D)

Thats interesting, I flew with CO to EWR from LHR back in March, and got upgraded to BusinessFirst, opted for the steak as a meal and it was tough as old boots that I couldn’t eat it?!

    Nice pic!!!!
Did you take it after you were at Waterside talking to WW about his “BA in administration…?!” speech?? 😀

Lol. Sadly no, I was stood on the terrace at the Thistle Hotel in Longford (not far from Waterside mind!). Its a great spot, but as Tom has already pointed out, its backlit throughout the day, so its not so good if you taking photos with a view to putting them up on a aviation photo related website, such as A.net!

    Thanks for the comments chaps.:)

Very nice …see the QF bird sneaking past the row of BA tails!!!

Yeah, wondered whether you would notice that Steve!:D

Great subject (I like it a lot), but it could well face problems with photo screeners on the main photo sites as it seems backlit to me.

Yeah Tom, your right, it is backlit, but I am not intending on posting it on any photo sites, am just sharing it with the people on here…:)

    Nice shots there Grey.:)

Am I right to assume that the Kingfisher A319CJ was there to bring Vijay Mallya and co. to/from the British Grand Prix?

The flight numbers always were and always will be concorde’s. Applying them to the flights of A318s is an insult to Concorde. (In my humble opinion)

Here here. Its a disgrace! 😡

I hope you have a thick skin because I suspect that you may come in for a load of stick today for totally misreading the article…

    Yeah, don’t worry, I have a thick skin!:D

Oh dear lord….Cloud_9, your posts usual make some sense!

Have you ever read a newspaper before???

Yes, of course I have read a newspaper before, however, I have not read/seen an article that quotes someone as saying something has happened when it has not?!

Ok, so I may have totally misread the article (my bad, :o), however, I am pretty sure that there were probably quite a few other people that jumped to the same conclusion as myself after they had read the first few lines of the article.

So the article is saying that he declared this at midnight, presumably last night. Why have there been no other reports on it?

Precisely what I was thinking and why I raised this issue in my initial post…?

It’s written in a speculative, fictional sense, possibly by the same dramatists who do Eastenders and Dr Who.

A question that rises from this is why is The Times reporting it in such a way and appearing to quote a statement made by Willie Walsh?

    Just for you all…

Mod Edit: No live linking, thanks.

Anyone else got any favourite (and also most annoying!) TV adverts, please feel free to post up a link to a video so we can all share the joy and/or pain of watching them!

    Here’s one of my favourite:

    Mod Edit: See above.

I’ve even gone so far as downloading the backing music to this particular TV advert; incidentally the song used is called “Transient” by Pluxus.

    Enjoy!:D
