I think this idiot should get a taste of his own medicine and be pinned against a wall and have the laser shone (sp?) in his eyes…see how he feels after!
Either that or get him doing community service…scrubbing public toilets with a toothbrush….or is that a bit too harsh?:D:diablo:
The little 328 Jet does look good in BA colours 😉
For those that did not already know, the reason the Dornier 328Jet is painted in the BA livery is because it is operated by Sun Air of Denmark (note the OY- markings on the registration!), which has been a franchisee of British Airways since 1 August 1996…and I agree, it does look nice!:D
OMG this is certainly a trip down memory lane!!!:)
Seeing those pictures of the old Air 2000 and Britannia liveries certainly has brought back many memories of previous holidays when I was young – and I am only 22 years old now!:D
Thank you so much for sharing those, look forward to seeing more soon!
to all, this is a short note from steve’s wife Annette. Steve will be missing for awhile. On Wed 13th aug, Steve had to have a heart transplant, all is not going to plan at the moment but we are hoping for the best. Hope he will be back with you all in the not too distant future
Annette, I am sorry to hear of this news, I just wish to add my thoughts and prayers to the whole family and friends of Steve, I expect that it must be pretty tense at the moment so I wish him the best of luck and a speedy recovery!

7) Turn around to those who helped you and basically look down on them.
I think what you meant to say here was ‘Turn around to those who criticised/doubted/judged/sniggered and generally poked-fun at you and basically look down on them.’…certainly not the people who helped you!
Hi Martin, welcome to the forums, hope you enjoy it, I am sure you will make friends very quickly with the superb quality of your pictures, especially for a first post! I particularly like the second one (the Silver 737!)…keep the good work up, look forward to seeing some more from you soon!
I don’t think I’ve laughed so much in ages
I 100% agree, its just like You’ve Been Framed…only better!:D

The one of the Thai aircraft is stunning, whereabouts was that taken from, does MUC have a viewing area?
Is it going to be repainted…?
Yes, its going to be re-painted in Jet2’s livery and fly LBA-AMS for them!
(Reference to another thread about someone who liked travelling on Jet2’s ‘older’ aircraft!)
:D:diablo:
There’s more about this here: http://www.createthefuturecontest.com/pages/view/entriesdetail.html?entryID=1347
And for those that cannot see the pictures very well I put them into Photobucket:

Personally I would be happy to use it if it ever came about, but looking at it from a health and safety perspective, I don’t think it would be very practical in the event of an emergency evacuation. Congrats to the designer/s for creating an innovative design concept though.
Some nice stuff there, thanks for sharing.
Doesn’t that Monarch/Spirit hybrid livery look disgustingly hideous!
I usually get quite whirled-up and excited when I hear about ‘new’ airline ventures being established, and I am very supportive of the people behind new ventures for at least having the courage to do such a thing and I would love for them to make it a success and prove all the people that doubt them wrong, but in this instance, I am struggling to see exactly what is unique about this particular venture, apart from the fact that they are basically copying or at least tweeking the basic Ryanair business model and are basing themselves at Cardiff, which is already home to a few well-known operators such as bmi baby, Flybe and Thomsonfly…
I don’t know and/or cannot see anything new or innovative that suggests to me that they have a chance of being successful, and with the industry in such a volatile state at present, I think that any chance of success will not come for quite some time!
And lastly, I am sure this point has been made before, but hey…why is it called ‘flyforbeans‘? Shouldn’t it be ‘flyforpeanuts‘ as that is a more commonly used word to describe something that is ‘cheap’!?
Another airline that was in the inital stages was Premjet (http://www.premjet.co.uk/), which is proposing to start a luxury-style service out of LTN and MAN to Spain. I applied for a job with them a while back as they were inviting people to submit their CV’s, but I had the usual “we are not currently recruiting, but we’ll keep your details on record for the future” response.
Anyone know of any news about this one as well?
I see your pictures are taken Airside do you work at DSA or do you get a security pass?
I was going to ask the same question Stu as I realised that most of your stuff is taken at DSA…but what you do post is fantastic!:D
