It wasn’t an auction type listing, it was a single bidder ‘Buy It Now’ type, where the seller sets his asking price and any buyer willing to pay, does so.

The price was £4,000. Link below……

    Blimey.

Wonder who’s got it? Means I can stop looking at the house deposit money with a slightly distant and somehow scary expression anyway.

The purchasee is known to me yes, but until its a done deal…. etc, etc…. 😉

    Martin,

It sounds like you guys had a real adventure.

I was up with the larks this morning and the black clouds & storms were indeed rolling in from Cornwall at 05.30. Although cleared by 8’ish, i guess you’d have to fight through at some point.

Do Austers fly in IMC eh ?

Look forward to some photo’s……… 😉

    I echo that sentiment. RIP.

    Me too….and truly shocking news.

A very sad loss to the Warbird & Mustang community, and even more reason than ever to treasure my collection of Warbirds Worldwide.

Wherever you are above the highest clouds, a belated and big thank you for your help & wisdom over the years…!

Sorry to say this (and perhaps couse offence) but there is no undercover storage at Booker and when I saw her last she was unceremoniuosly stored balanced on top of a container.

    John,

This is because Barry is investing in the future at the site, starting with tarmacing the yard, which is why everything is off the ground at present as well as a general tidy up.

    Hope that’ll ease your mind ? 😀

It is against eBay rules for a seller to specify what his reserve is, in the auction details, title or even in response to (displayed) sellers questions.

Feel free to complain, but you’ll only get an automated response if you do. 😡
