I’ve been thinking the same thing about the break, as logically, one would think the left one should go first. I wasn’t gonna say anything as I don’t wanna put my mouth where my knowledge is not, but since the above poster mentioned it and seemed to have some experience…

That would be the case if Rob had merely turned left, but he pulled up & then turned left, so he was well above the Skyraider when he turned.

Surely these are “cradles” for manhandling drop tanks.

    or missiles…

ZRx61 I am the woman you are talking about and I did not go on a racist rant it what we english call an old saying which I removed as it seemed to upset you, and you only as others agreed to what I said,I am not in anyway whatsoever a racist person , and yes i am still on it as its my site and I invited your cousin to join and made him an admin and when he read what you were putting on it I believe your cousin blocked you,, need I say any more

He didn’t block me at all, I left the group after your comment. I called you on the comment. You removed it & then played the “what comment are you talking about?” . He told me you didn’t say it, your account had been hacked etc. Your own comments regarding what was posted indicate it had nothing to do with your account being hacked as you admitted posting the comment…. Nice try, I ain’t buying into your story.

That second link in your second-to-last post, ZRX61, about sociopaths fits the two main “characters” in our woes absolutely to a tee.

They have this incredible ability to get people’s ear and instil a sense they know what they are talking about. They are very, very clever (in the mischievous, not intelligence, sense) and appear to many to be paragons of virtue and good intent. They are anything but.

    Anon.

The bad news is that there is no form of therapy etc that has any effect on sociopaths, therapy etc just makes them even worse. All you can do is attempt damage control & that can take years.

I saw the ugly side at Dx during the filming of MB. They needed “faces in windows” on the B17’s so anyone who was available went for a jolly after a visit to wardrobe. Some got to go more than once & those who didn’t get to go were quite vocal about their displeasure. It didn’t occur to them that the reason some went more than once is because they were there during the week & not just on Sundays… I got ripped into by some volunteer muppet because I went up more than once.

If you want to get a good understanding of this behavior, read “The Sociopath Next Door”. It will truly open your eyes. It was actually recommended to me by someone who has to deal with my ex-wife.

The work entailed stripping down previously issued aircraft spark plugs, cleaning, resetting and testing either for re issue or just for “Run Ups” .If my memory is right there were three makes Champion, Lodge and KLG. The job I was given was to sand blast the plugs, strip the paint off the Champion plugs using emery cloth then repainting them black if they were to be re-used.( Bull ++++ or what).

The job hasn’t changed. We send out RR Merlin & radial plugs for the exact same treatment….

The horns on both vises were buzzed with a 3M scotchbrite roloc disc on an angle grinder.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0PCG8sJulFE . 😮

For all his efforts this pilot was penalised with 60 days of jail (he is currently serving this term! ), sixty days of obligatory beach cleaning and $6,000 in penalties and court fees.

He wanted to promote his upcoming film about “rebel pilots” (sic)… :diablo:

He showed up at Camarillo airshow last year & was slated to do an “air racing demonstration”…& was promptly told there was no way in hell that was going to happen by the swarm of FAA in attendance…

…. & that wasn’t the only issue that weekend. Doubt I’ll ever go to that airshow again, I don’t need to see another smoking hole.

Usable ones go for about $1000-$1500 in the US.

Ialso at about 80% we were told the frequency the engine resonated at would break down the tissues in the chest….. .

One of the Tesla books give the frequency for liquifying people…

Nope, not “the same film” by any means…

Maybe they should have used different trailers then, the one I saw was almost word for word the exact same scene from TA..

A buckshee week in Malta 🙂 Still you can’t hurry a good job!! 🙂

Always nice when you end up someplace nice on a job like that. Once took a week instead of 2 days to swap out a RR Merlin because the owner said “stay at the nearest hotel”… It was a Hilton 🙂
