Kermit’s collection had been down on the Florida east coast and was badly damaged by a hurricane. He moved and set up at his current location, on high ground,

That would be 6, 7ft above sea level? 😉

My oldest brother lives in Reno… if I had known a month or so ahead of time… drat it!!

The F7F was one of the first models I put together, and I have loved it since… despite never having seen one in person!!

    Where are you located?

On some radials I’ve seen woven glass fiber used to insulate the exhaust stacks. Think it was on an A26 so that would be 2800’s.

    On the subject of repaints:
I was an a airshow recently where some dillweed from the CAF berated me at some length because the undercart of the F7F is the same colour as the rest of the aircraft & he was quite adamant that it should be a light gray “so it matches our Bearcat”.
When he finally stopped to draw breath, I informed him that if he were to buy the aircraft himself he could paint it any effing colour he liked.
    That shut him up 😉

They haven’t yet published this years list so there could be more.
One of the nice things about it is that the Nazis of the brewing industry, Greene King, are banned from the premises, so you won’t be conned by any of the rubbish they market under the brand names of famous old breweries that they have mercilessly closed down, but still sell to the public, Ruddles was originally made in a small country brewery in Rutland, not a synthetics factory in Bury St Edmunds.

Perhaps you could share with us why the breweries bought out by GK were on the market?

Item #6 is a clip that resembles a piece of bent coat hangar. That shouldn’t be too hard to make yourself…

    The plot thickens.

    M.

The plot has more holes than a string vest, I think you’re in danger of having smoke come out of your ears because of the shear amount that has been blown up your ****..
