Was any work/investigation done between it landing on Saturday until it flew on Sunday? From the rumours is seems it had the same engine gremlin both days..:confused: If thats the case surely someone would have had a butchers?

The ex-U.S. military planes, yes (not many civil B-52s or SR-71s) are still government property and loaned to the museum.
Others have been loaned by their owners..like the Ex-Tora, Tora, Tora Japanese Kate replica (or is it a Val?…I can never remember:)) and the Indian Gnat. See post #3.

So there are a few potential flyers in that pile?:D

If you know anyone who has access to a CNC PlasmaCam or a waterjet cutter you can knock out copies in minutes. I’ve seen half scale P51 panels for sale someplace. 😉
