Even though Dx have said they don’t want it/don’t have room for it, why not hand it all over to the IWM & have them run things? Wasn’t there an “IWM North” or something? At least then they wouldn’t be begging for expenses amounting to £500/week to keep Pleming in petrol & pies.

I’ve tried to watch a few episodes of this show, but usually give up after 10 minutes because of that incessant background music.

Most of the posters on there give me the impression that they haven’t actually read the article. It’s the sort of hysterical reaction you expect from the type of people who infest facebook.

The people who infest facebook? That would be just about every aircraft manufacturer, museum & restoration shop on the planet.

If anyone would care to work out how much hangar space they need then we’ve recently priced up a build for a guy who wanted to house two Kingairs. It came out at £75 a square foot plus the cost of the land.

Around here it would be closer to $15sq/ft….. Guy I know recently got a quote of $120k for 8000sq ft.

R44 pilot states that he didn’t feel any contact, but earlier in the report states that both he & the passenger felt a bump, so which is it? R44 pilot states he stopped, witnesses state he didn’t…

I’ve read, is available for sale for someone interested in producing a static display (though one would imagine that a prospective owner would not be able to legally “re-apply” an identity to it, at least not that of TV959, since for all legal proof/title, TV959 exists now in complete (currently disassembled) form in Everett, Washington).

They can paint whatever ID they want on it.

Good, plain language document, evidencing a lot of cooperative effort behind the scenes between regulators who like old aircraft and operators who like new regulators.

Do you have a copy of AC 43.13 1B-2B?
