LOL!!! The 300 people comment was made to describe the size of the cargo bay in the space shuttle. It’s 60x15ft, so yeah, 300 people standing up will fit in it.
There’s a piece of one* sitting in the garage
*a space shuttle, not a person…
However, are they replicas, reproduction or late-production model?
The 6 cars were
a) Built by the same manufacture (albeit 40 odd years later)
b) They used 6 allocated but un-built construction data plates
oh, so like those *long lost* Cobra chassis’s that Shelby found after he had forgotten about them sitting at his ranch in Texas for 40 years? 😉

No Cobra or H-21 thenZRX?!
Nope, but they have a T53 engine sat on a pallet in the hangar. There’s an H21 sat in a yard in Rosamond though.
My name for the yellow flouro vest is ‘Harry Potter’s cloak of invincibility’ as you can’t be harmed if wearing one.
As for hard hats they must be worn backwards and perched on top of a woolly hat.
Always known them as Wally Bibs 🙂
It’s in Cornwall, anything left after the local wreckers got through with it wouldn’t be worth more than about 25p.
It’s about 55 miles from here & although I’ve hit sales in Burbank before, I decided to sit this one out as I could see me pissing away 2 months rent… & the expense of renting a bigger truck…
Are the copper pipes carrying coolant?
On the Merlins over here we replace the copper lines with Stainless. 🙂
It looks like they are blowing the fire bottle(s). Wonder if that was intentional?
Surely they would have blown the fire bottles before they even landed?
The issue now is that the white powder stuff is horrendously corrosive when it gets wet. The fire bottles we fit are halon or some sort of halon substitute, not dry powder.
Did it lose any cowlings before it landed? What exactly is going on in this pic?

We’re getting there, it;s gone from about 80 when I first posted this 468 🙂
II’m not sure Boeing “ruined” McDD. The end of the line had come for their commercial production.
Boeing bought MCDD for one reason, to get the C17 contract… & if Northrop get the B3 contract expect to see Boeing swallow up that company too.
I have no desire to fly (or work) on a LongBeach Death Tube.
