however, as has been frequently stated on this Post, If a criminal wants a gun, regardless of his standing in the community, they will get one, and I guess that’s why Obama wants to bring in, as part of his gun control policy, background checks, and stop the use of buying guns “On the spot” at Auctions.

Tell me exactly how that stops felons having guns? We’ve already established that if gun control worked then Chicago would be the safest town in the US… Just as it has been established that towns with less interference with legally owning a gun have far lower crime rates.

Yes, yes, like I said in my previous post, shootings are nothing to do with guns, just people. By the same token, all criminals, lunatics and terrorists should be allowed the right to possess whatever weapons they wish. After all, the 2nd amendment is all about the right to bear arms in case people need to overthrow an oppressive Govt, and many terrorists believe that is just what they should do; surely it’s their Constitutional right?
