Yep, that bottle should definitely get a mention in despatches:)
It would be interesting to see a comparison between the German bombs and something like a Cookie and/or Tallboy

Thanks DC, beat me to it:D
Despite being well and truly hamstrung at our workshop due to to RadHaz requirements and surveys, here’s a quick update to let you know that we’re still alive and kicking:p
Whilst we’ve been unable to make much at the moment, I’ve been pretty active in sourcing parts and cockpit fittings, to that end here’s a few pics of some of our recent acquisitions 😀

Methyl bromide is a definite no-no although BCF (Halon 1211) is permissable in the aerospace environment.
John
Hi Tony
tried sending you a PM but your folder is full. Have sent you an e-mail instead

John
Thanks for that Sam,
We came across this a few weeks ago and have/are approaching Solent Sky with a view to borrowing it so that it can be accurately measured. The DV window will then give us the correct profile for the lower corner of the cockpit coupe and assist in the CAD drawings.
John
Hi TO
If you’re talking about the DF loop fairing on the fuselage upper surface, we might just have what you’re after. If you can PM/e-mail me with dimensions, pictures etc we could discuss further

Some of the Ray Mears films have stories of desert/jungle survival
As a companion to our pilot’s seat chassis above, the co-pilots chassis is now finished. The seat mountings and adjuster mechanism are next on the list to be made.
cheers and Happy New Year

I recently asked a similar question for our Stirling W/op stations so you might find some useful info here:
I have completed the 3 subpanels, the compassholder and the two sideboards with oxygensupply-gauge last week and will fix them together with the mainpanel next week. Then I still have to make the decals. Do one of you perhaps know an address were I can get those? After it is completed I’ll make photo’s and post them right away.
Rijnko
Hi Rijnko
If you send a Private Message to Hindenburg, he has the details of a UK company that made up some labels for his panel, they look pretty convincing. We used a slightly different approach to ours (Negative printed onto white decal sheet), unfortunately I haven’t got the original files. If you need any other help/advice please feel free to ask
