Just as a little footnote to the Ross/Brand ‘controversy’, last Friday I settled down to watch the film ‘Speed’, which was aired in the Jonathon Ross slot. I’m certain the continuity announcer was having a sly comment on the whole affair when he unmistakably introduced the film as ‘starring Keanu Reeves and Sandra B*ll*cks’.

From 1947 to 1978 one UFO sighting was reported in the world
    every four hours…

Strewth – ‘e were busy then – lucky those combined plasma-ion particle drives only need refuelling once every century….

A few years ago there was an application made to build a service area on the M11, close enough to Dux to compromise flying operations from there. Can anybody confirm that this possibility has been laid to rest, or is there a chance of it reappearing ? (apologies for slight thread creep)

Also nice is “Someday I’ll fly away” though I do not know the singer/band.

From the depths of my ancient memory – Randy Crawford ?

Good evening everyone, I’m looking to print some basic DVD covers, not interested in fancy cover artwork etc, just the disc title/number on the spine and disc contents on the back and front in simple text. So my question is does anyone know of a simple program I can download that will enable me to do this? Thanks in advance…

    -Dazza

I downloaded a free program from PrintParade Studio a couple of weeks ago – haven’t used it yet, but it looks simple and appears to cover all the essentials.

Anyone got any suggestions as to where to go for a holiday in January, as I have some time off work and looking to go away somwhere, perferably warm and sunny, so skiing is out of the question!?

    The Gambia – it’s nearer than S.Africa.

    Carly Simon’s You’re so Vain…has a pop star flying,
“…you flew your Learjet to Nova Scotia to see a total eclipse of the sun..”

Allegedly, not a pop star, but Warren Beatty…
