Is S-UE the ex OFMC example?
Picked up for £2 in a charity shop Mr Turner, Timothy Spall.
The later life of Turner the painter. Brilliant performance by Timothy Spall.
Totally believable, totally engrossing.
Can anyone confirm a Hurricane over Blackbush 17:15 ?

Is the ARCO Lysander a new(ish) aircraft, or is it one of the three previously airworthy examples that has been restored ?
Please move Gibsons dog and bury it next to Gibson in Steenbergen.
Are the control locks for rudder and elevator separate?
Leaving the control lock on the elevator would explain why the tail didn’t come up, but not why the take off was not abandoned.
Saw just the B25 and what looked like a Spitfire at about 5pm over Minley Manor out of Farnborough.
No Corsair or P38 though.
We had driven through torrential rain about 10 miles to the south.
Interestingly I have that picture framed found in a charity shop.
There’s a danger we old folk are a bit too dusty to make comments like I’m about to make, but here goes.
When I wer a lad (1975 ish) the parts of the RAF museum I enjoyed the most were entering and wandering about the WW1 displays upstairs (where did they go?).
Stepping out into the large and impressive main hanger and seeing all the aircraft and probably the biggest impact, walking into
the Battle of Britain hall. The build up, the sirens, the revetment. Then seeing all those iconic aircraft was exciting.
I particularly enjoyed the slide show with music narrated by Anthony Quale. The crashed Hurricane thought provoking. My enthusiasm no doubt fuelled by Angels One Five and The Battle of Britain.
Moving forward to a few years ago I liked some of the changes they had made to the museum. The Graham White hanger. The milestones of flight. I think they were all good.
The other exhibits were starting to need some love. Most of the hard standings (the blue carpet areas) looked more like work areas then exhibits. Some planes just plonked together for space.
The big issue for me is the disbandment of the Battle of Britain hall. I could probably deal with any other exhibit being moved or replaced but the RAF’s finest hour? That has to have a place at Hendon, or even Cosford, but it has to have a place Revetments and all.
Really though we should be asking kids what they think as they are ultimately the people who will visit over the next 40 or so years.
Memories of the Vulcan at North Weald and the Chicken score board.
Arnie does one called Annie where his daughter becomes a Zombie. I liked them both.
Extremely tediously booring film but almost worth it for the unintended hallarious ending (first time I’ve heard the cinema laugth during a horror movie).
Probably best left to dvd after a few beers.
