Dogs are better as they can’t get into our garden to crap in it or bother our guinea pigs. Cats however do get in to our garden and treat it as their lavatory. Some deterrence is required. Humane or otherwise.

    Cats. Pets for lazy owners.

    I’ll counter that claim.
Cats poo in the neighbours garden and hide it. Dogs poo in their own garden right where you will probably step.

That’s both a “euw!” and an “aww” picture for me. I used to have several pet rats. They are intelligent, cunning and surprisingly friendly. Although matey there seems to have a touch of the `bubo’s`.

Superior to what? To each other? Having had both over the years and with both still in parts of the family I couldn’t chose because both are so totally different as animals. Jack Dee summed it up with his observation from each after he had completed some DIY shelving. The cat looked enigmatically on and “said” something like “what a load of rubbish – it will have fallen down by the end of the week”. The god looked lovingly at his master and said ” wonderful, marvellous, a perfect job”!!

    Chill, it’s a fun thread 🙂

The TCR set I had (Indie 500 I think it was) had three cars.
A red and yellow racing car and a black `Jam` car.
The Jam car ran on it’s own around the track at half speed and was an obstruction to make racing more challenging (especially if you put it on backwards!).
For those that did not have TCR it was a single lane game where you could overtake the car in front by flicking a switch on the controller. This flipped the car to the opposite side of the road.
It had one advantage over Scaletrix in that you could go flat out and not fly off the track.

    hampden98.
Hang on a minute, didn’t Rover once have a small jet engine powered “Concept car”?.
    Jim.
    Lincoln .7

Yes, it was called the 3500 and came with it’s own smoke system too :diablo:
From my experience all Rovers were pretty much `concept`. Ahh, they don’t make em like that anymore!
