Is this any different to any other period of time.
I’m sure that with every war or conflict there has been a corresponding section of our community who decides to support and fight against us?
IS is just another `fad` which will fade with time.
Until that happens we just need to educate more people to take the right path,
and `remove` those that don’t.
Get well Vulcan or my nephews may lynch me at Old Warden!
It’s not the engine, the lower cowl contains a bigger oil tank which, in conjunction with additional fuel tanks in the wings (in place of guns and ammunition), allowed the unarmed PR Spitfires to fly longer-range missions compared with the fighter variants.
Thanks. Didn’t know that.
Yes, very slow and sometimes fails to load page.

Variety is the spice of airshows.
I started to get a little bored at Duxford so have broadened my scene the last few years to include Fairford (this year excellent), Yeovilton, Dunsfold, Biggin Hill and sadly Shoreham (although I didn’t go this year fortunately).
Give the man who commentates for the Vulcan the job.
I swear he could talk about asphalt and make it sound interesting!
My favorites are the `pair` at Dunsfold. Brendon O’Brian gets me every time when the Wing Walkers are displaying;
“OMG LOOK AT THAT SIX PACK”. Turning around quickly to witness not very much happening!
Why does PL965 have such a deep nose. Why is that particular engine so different from all the others?
I was planning to visit OW for the Military Display specifically to see the Vulcan but wasn’t able due to ticket availability.
So I’m off in October to hopefully see the Vulcan again.
I appreciate the old timer feel at OW and try to visit at least once a year but I don’t understand all this Vulcan negativity.
She’s unique, British, noisy and still flying. Doesn’t that make her worthy of attending?
I shall enjoy biplane and big delta side by side.
You’ll miss her when she’s gone.
Sally B got a round of applause at Dunsfold on Sunday.
Surprised the media choose to mention her `smoke` pass and yet failed to mention the
various bangs and large explosions for the `tactical airpower` display?
Well done to Dunsfold for keeping the format the same despite recent events.
That must be the definition of `irony`, “configured to investigate structural failures suffered a structural failure”.
Does anyone have a map of the routes that will be flown?
I read this elsewhere, it said they had recovered a sheepskin collar, bits of boots and a pistol, there was no mention of human remains, but those three items point strongly to the remains of the pilot still in it
Hopefully they will attempt to recover the crew and their identities?
The reason I posted is because of the negative response from this forum whenever a new aviation film and cgi is mentioned.
Just wanted to remind people that not all cgi is bad and in fact some is actually pretty bloody good!
