Maybe they load all the bags at the front? (I dont know if you have the option of loading bags at front or back on 737s?). Three rows not used, thats 9 seats and £x in revenue. Probably saving costs one way or the other…

I never really managed to find anywhere that decent around LGW, despite searching the perimeter extensivly. I was never all that impressed with the Skyview actually, it had gor worse and worse as the years went by. Its a shame, as there is usually some more interesting stuff to see at LGW than LHR Ive found, esp the Northwest DC10s Air Zimbabwe, DAS Cargo etc.

They do runs across to Florida don’t they? Taking over the flights previously operated by EAL. I think they have a website along the lines of travelcitydirect.com? Looks really cheapo. Their ‘fly on our jumbos’ advert reminded me of something you would see in the 60s. As if flying on an ex-BA jumbo is some sort of special experience?? (OK I admit I’d quite like to)lol

I think you are better off writing to a company doing ‘aviation support’ work, ground handlers etc as sadly the time of work experience with a major has passed i think. Unless you know someone who can sort you out

Even more special as the -300s are soon to be retired, last revenue flight at the end of the week I think??

    Oh dear

I was literally (no joke) just about to book a flight to Barcelona with IB in June as they are £15 cheaper than BA – thought they were of a similar standard. After seeing that Ill pay the extra £15 thanks!!!
