FLS Aerospace at Dublin do some of Channel Express 737-300 maintainance.
And no, I still don’t really understand the whole Fly Globespan/ Channel Express / Jet 2/ icelandic link up.

Islandsflug(Iceland) lease aircraft to Channex who then operate them for Flyglobespan as passenger ops but also as cargo ops from EDI as the EDI based 733s are convertable freighters.
Jet 2 is Channex’s on Loco carrier?

easyJet, never had a problem with them.
have only flown Flybe twice so can’t really judge, but they were fine too.

I thought he had a giant turd warpped round his head at first! Mind you, it probably doesn’t look far off from that, with the lack of washing.

LOL, that made me laugh! 😀 It looks a lot like it!

Actually mate, hair becomes self cleaning if you dont wash it for a while, ask anybody in the hairdresser trade. Has something to do with the natural oils in your hair / scalp….you just got to get through the dirty hair feeling first.

Well, you learn something new everyday! 🙂

That’s correct, and I don’t know why they would be DUB.
I know they do cargo flights from EDI but I think that’s just STN, EMA and maybe BFS.
    Maintainance maybe?

Would your hair still be it’s natural colour if you hadn’t washed it in 6 years!? 😀 To me it looks something that comes from where the sun don’t shine! 😉

    Who are Canadian Affair?

A tour operator to Canada, and a major one at that.
They are using TCX from EDI, GLA, LGW etc. this year and MYT from MAN too.
You can also book scheduled flights with them.
We used them to Canada back in 1998 when they were using Canada 3000.

I don’t see PIK being too succesful given the high frequency of Canadian flights already from GLA by Air Canada, Air Transat, Zoom and Canadian Affair ? But good luck to them anyhow.

The YYZ market from GLA is well and truely saturated.
They should come to EDI! 🙂

Seems they are trying to get a presence over here now…

New departures from Manchester and Southampton
From 1st November 2004 Air Berlin will fly from two additional British airports. There is a new daily connection from Manchester to Berlin-Tegel and one to Dusseldorf. Manchester – Paderborn will be flown four times a week. Another new route is Southampton to Paderborn three times weekly.

London-Stansted will continue to connect the British capital with Berlin-Tegel, Dusseldorf, Hanover, Munster-Osnabruck, Nuremberg, Paderborn and Palma de Mallorca, some routes are serviced two or even three times per day. In the past year almost 700,000 passengers travelled with Air Berlin on these routes.

The new connections from Manchester and Southampton can be booked from now, like all other Air Berlin routes, via the internet (airberlin.com), round the clock in the airline?s Service Centre (0870 ? 738 88 80, 8p/min) or at selected travel agents. Early birds fly from £19 (one way), inclusive of all fees and taxes. There is also a complimentary on board service.

Very good news, especially for Southampton, seems very strange they would start up from there… from £19 with complimentary on board service! Wow!

I was hoping that was going to be EDI there! 🙂 We’ve been campaigning for a Berlin link. 🙂 SOU seems weird though.

Ok.I am here to apoligise.I get quite over excited sometimes but at the moment Im in the middle of some very stressful exams.Im not blaming them on it but at the moment its a contributing factor.Im only young (17) and I still have a huge amount to learn.I have privatly talked to BY738 apoliginsing to him and I hope everybody else excepts my apoligy.Im not here to make enemies even though some might think I am.Im here to discuss aviation like the rest of you.
Now I have that out of the way I want to ask do Glopespan fly to Dublin.Although I dont think they do there seems to be alot of their planes popping up here.

LOL, told you you’d regret it! 🙂

I hate it when you don’t fly too frequently, but on the day that you do, the air traffic control system crashes, leaving you without a flight or on a flight which is heavily delayed.

    Snap. 😉
