I’ve never heard how good or bad Air Scotland or doing financially, there was a documentary on them on Scottish t.v a few months ago, it gave a good insight into the running of a company, it’s family run by a guy(Greek origins I think) and his wife who dreamt up the idea and now it’s reality, the stresses of the job led to him having a heartattack it was an interesting program.
Anyway, here’s an update, finally an arrival time:

A quick update, GRE2722 hasn’t changed. It still hasn’t landed and there is no indication of when it will.

15.45 GRE2722 MALAGA (no word yet, basically it’s not landed yet)

GRE2743 is showing this but with no aircraft to operate it yet as it hasn’t arrived from Malaga I don’t understand the comment, unless they have rushed another aircraft in?

They always cancel flights at GLA under the GSM flight code. I can’t remember why and I’m unsure of the situation, I have a feeling they still operate though? Like I said it is something to do with the GSM code, all flights that use EXS are fine.

I have to say that I’m amazed they have even made it this far. They have survived through the effective grounding of their operations twice! In the removal of the lease with Electra and then the bankruptcy of Air Holland who were supplying them with aircraft. Now we have Greece Airways, and still they have a 757, in-fact they even made use a AirHolland’s 763s last summer on such routes as ABZ-PMI! I’m unsure if they need that kind of capacity.

I always thought it was for practising poading cargo because of where it is, stuck at the cargo village, I don’t think it has ever moved and also it seems to have a cargo door in the side of it.

Well as you can see they are now running roughly 8 hours late, so that gives a good estimation of when the EDI-NCL-PMI flight will go. Could be about 1am!

This is a departure and as there is no comment on it yet, it means that it hasn’t departed yet and BAA probably have no idea when it will, considering the 08.10 to Malaga doesn’t seem to have gone yet! 😮
I take it back it has just departed:

It was always the logical choice with Jetblue already well and truely established at JFK, they wouldn’t have stood a choice.
Although, I’ve heard of worries about the weather at SFO?

It seems to be woeking fine. It’s got great attention to detail.
Shame it’s out of date all ready as it has not full length taxiways or the multi-storey car park as they are both reaching completion.
Although, it even has the section of a fuselage at the cargo village that they must use for practising loading cargo into the aircraft. 😎

Do XLA reconfigure the interior in any way? If not I can imagine it is quite nice in there going by charter standards.
