Financially for me, a UK based meet would be best, MAN again would be a nice option, but i respect your decision if you wish to go abroad 🙂
:EDIT: Plus just seen the dates you have thought of Stuart, and i’m coming home anyway from the US on the 9th lol
I’d quite happily have another day-trip to MAN this summer in addition! lol Last years was a good day so all the more reason.
Maybe I’m the only person with some sort of income during term time so that I may be able to afford this? :p
The other date I had in mind is the end of August, but I don’t suppose it’s ever gonna be possible to set a date that suits everyone.
I love the idea, unfortunately, the only place you could fly from LBA to amongst those is AMS, though i’m sure myself and Paul could get over to MAN if need be. (assuming he’d be available ;)).
I need a job to get some money! ZRH does look superb, as does MAD, Andrew was telling me earlier about the possibility of getting an A340 down to TFN, which would be superb!
You can drive, fly from MAN! :p
Yeah, IB use A346s to LPA for about £80 return, which would be quite something for a forum meet, although then it really does get expensive…
Excellent pictures, but the tail on that Singapore livery just doesn’t look right to me.
And I don’t just mean the dodgy quality of the logo. 🙂
No, they’ve missed a bit! 😉
I take it Air France don’t run any sort of scheduled service to Edinburgh
2x daily CDG and a weekly ORY during the summer, it’s not really Air France though, it’s Cityjet- who are Irish- using BAe146s as Bmused said.

Good news all round! Hopefully they will operate different routes from EDI and GLA, atleast to begin with, so we have a bit more variety.
Excellent pics Robert, good to see you here, hopefully there will be many more to come. 🙂
GSM may suffer long term, as easyJet is a more well known company that them and it may persuade people to travel EZY. I would.
I’d argue than in Edinburgh and Glasgow atleast, Flyglobespan are just as well known as easyJet now. GSM also offer the added advantage of being able to book a flight+hotel package, which to places like AGP and ALC should allow them to keep a large share of the market.
Thats a shame, would have like to see you again mate, ah well some other time, sure you have enough of DUB as it is!
Excellent shots Stu, EI-CSA looks superb these days!
Cheers Tom! 😀
It sure does, hard to believe it’s the oldest in the fleet. I was hoping I’d find myself on it for the flight home because it arrived about 35mins before I was due to leave, but it wasn’t to be. 😉
Cheers all, I’m quite happy with how some of them have come out, all things considered. i.e weather, retarded fence…
I think the B73G is what it’s least likely to be, I’d say either B733 or A319 depending on what flight it is.
Yes that is a very nice selection Stuart! 😀 I seem to have been the only one who didn’t take pictures of Andrew and Mark by the road!
Cheers Tom! Just a shame about that damn fence!
Snap! Got the same camera 🙂 I think they do still sell it in the UK!
Does take some good quality pictures!Cheers,
Sam
Yeah it is, it’s only 4MP so starts to struggle a bit for quality at the sizes needed for websites such as jetphotos with me at the controls. 😉 That’s not to say it’s not capable though, one of the reasons I chose it was because of the quality of some of the shots taken with it that have been uploaded to airliners/jetphotos when compared to other similiar cameras in the same price range.
Some very good pics there! 🙂
Your camera looks nice and handy, which one is it? I’ll have a guess… Sony Cybershot.
PS, who said it’s on fire? :p
No, it’s the Olympus C-765, not sure if it’s still on sale in the UK anymore, think it’s just the C-770 they sell. It’s not a bad little camera, I can’t justify spending the money on a DSLR, so the C-765 suits me just fine.
I’m sure Andrewm said it was on fire… Well, maybe me as well… 😉

Quite like the effect in this one

I didn’t notice at first that someone stuck a stupid post in the way!

Nearly missed this one…

A couple of unidentified lorry spotters. 😉
This isn’t civil aviation so will most likely get moved, but Leuchars Airshow will be on Saturday 9 September 2006.
