    Excellent pics! 🙂
That Landrover Fokker was at EDI last weekend going to NCE, anyone know what it’s purpose is? Corporate charters?

Gotcha – I’m not too familiar with the EDI schedules.

Though Canadian Affair did annouce earlier in the year that they had ‘doubled’ the number of seats on sale from EDI this summer, of course that makes you of a second flight, however I think what they meant is that last year the flight originated in BHX (presumably with BHX pax too?), however this year EDI has the aircraft to itself. 😉

Also their football team is better than Scotland’s…… :D:D:D

Breaking your own rules, GA? 😉

I forgot to post this here earlier, but good news, I’m not sure what the aircraft is doing inbetween flights because it arrives at EDI in the morning before returning to the Faroes in the evening, but I have a hunch it could be a Zurich charter catering for Swiss tourists, I’m sure I read that somewhere…

Oh and EK, it’s only running for 4 months over the summer.

The Canadian Affair Website seemed to show a SAT and SUN flight.

Yeah, it does YYZ-EDI on Saturday night, then stops at EDI for a few hours before doing EDI-YYZ on the Sunday, before returning to BHX or where ever it ‘W patterned’ from on the Sunday night from YYZ presumably.

    GLA-YYZ summer 05.

    Zoom – 2 per week.
Air Transat – 2 per week / third flight added JUL/AUG.
Thomas Cook – 6 per week / daily end JUN/JUL/AUG.
Air Canada – 4 per week start of JUN/SEP/OCT – daily end of JUN/JUL/AUG.

    EDI-YYZ summer 05.
Air Transat – 1 per week.
Thomas Cook – 2 per week.

TCX are only 1 weekly. So 2x weekly summer only service, plenty of scope for Zoom or whoever to start YYZ flights if they choose.

Z4’s Scottish base is at GLA and they have no plans for any other Scots airports. EK have said time and again that GLA will remane the only Scottish airport due to EDI being so close to it. Dont say CSA and CO do it do why cant EK? Simple ansire diffrent airline managed diffrently.

That really didn’t answer the question asked by by738 did it?

So CSA and CO are the same airline, managed the same etc, and GSM for that matter? I’m sorry, but your reply really didn’t make any sense regarding that point.

I would also prefer them to go to Budapest or Germany or at least somewhere new but ANY new flights are welcome in my books. Are Air Scotland now doing GLA-AMS 5weekly aswell as CDG and ATH?

I don’t think even Air Scotland know what they’re doing right now. 😉

What do you mean ‘hope this wont happen’, if the markets there, they will go for it and they will start the flights. Every airline does research.

I did say in my post why I hope it won’t happen.
There are places in Europe gagging for a 2x daily service from GLA, I don’t believe AMS is one of them right now.
