Supposedly the result of a RuAF strike. If so, they were not kidding about armor destroyed.

    They look so sad.:highly_amused:

    Nice salvo firing there.

If you ask me this cruise missile business is more about a show of force than about hitting targets in Syria. How did they even find that many high value targets in Syria in the first place?

It´s just the Bear flexing its muscles.

reasons are simple… it is about difference between bad and good dictators

bad dictator: tortures, kills, imprisons, and so on

good dictator: tortures, kills, imprisons, and so on… but he’s our buddy

    simple, no?

The US Department of State consider Saudi Arabia as an “enlighten monarchy” not a dictatorship. Typical US double standarts.

Some folks on a french website claim that 6 Su30SM went to intercept 4 Israeli F15I coming in towards Syria from the sea.

Any credence to that? Are there even 6 Su30SM in theater?

    Nic

Totally BS. I believe this is the Source

    I love these guys!

To summarize, US is supporting, financing, arming, training, equipping people to fight legitimate government of sovereign country (that is by the way 10 000 km away) making them, what`s the word. . .ah yes, TERRORIST, and when ally country comes to help in the war against terrorism they openly say that they should arm those terrorist with surface to air missiles 😀

    They never learn.

This video has already been proven to be fake. Its cut together from two videos and the audio is taken from another video.

I agree. But in the end of the vídeo we see an aircraft being hit probably by AAA. Looks like a Su-25, perhaps Iraq´s Frogfoots in action.

ISIS is not Russias problem they never threatned to invade or attack Russia , so whats the point attacking team , its like making enemies when there is none.

They did not atack Russia with this new brand. ISIS is only the new label of Al Qaeda. In the 80´s they were the mujahedeens or “freedom fighters”.

Russia was atacked in the past by the al-Jihad-Fisi-Sabililah Special Islamic Regiment (Moscow Theatre) and Caucasus Emirate(Beslan) and others in the Caucausus region. They´re all like ISIS and have roots in a certain wealthy oil producer in the Gulf region.

There are chechen terrorists fighting with ISIS. It would be a preemptive strike by the russians. Syria and Iraq are training grounds for these terrorists.

Since when is dropping large bombs somehow a problem? This is the Soviets we are talking about. If there is a blade of grass NOT burnt or a building anywhere still standing they aren’t living up to their fullest potential. The bigger the bomb the better.

I believe this is the motto of the soviet artillery not the air force.

Flanker is not suitable for this kind of role. Flanker only role is loitering to produce radar image and EW support. It need FAB-3000 and FAB-5000 from Tu-22M. it is too reshape the battlefield in such a way that some others lured into it. I think they need to install S-400 in Syria. that will cover aerspace well into Mediteranean/Irak/Turkey/Israel.
it will be the most profitable adventure in Russia history.

But Russia sent Su-30 multirole fighters not the Su-27. Su-30 is multi-role right? It can carry smart bombs.

I dont think Russia will install S-400 in Syria. Why sould they make easy to US and NATO to colect ELINT signals from it?
Older S-300 versions will do just fine after all they don´t want to shotdown NATO aircrafts.

you dont do Close airsupoort when you want to defeat in less than 3 days. CAS is for slow motion war.

But I don´t think Russia is sending Flanker do to CAS. I think they are going to use it to atack much more valuable targets such as non ISIS weapons depot wearing down the oposition to the syrian government or bomb ISIS supply lines along the border with Turkey with impunity. Turkey won´t dare to atack russian aircrafts fighting ISIS near its border as they do against syrian air force warplanes.

Let’s hope both are safe at least.
Still no pic of the crash site? Any area or zone has been mentioned (north Colombian border has a vast topographic diversity)?

It´s official. They are both dead. RIP.
