How is it decided which Spitfires and Hurricanes would go where for the BoB celebrations?

I realise all of the electrical equipment will have been removed from the SR-71 before she was given to Duxford for display but what about it’s RAM paint, has that been removed and replaced with standard paint?

The AAM refurb is supposedly bringing the UK/US ‘special relationship’ up to date by covering the past 2 decades. So what else is going in apart from the F15?? Any ‘theme’ will inevitably lead to compromise and omissions.

Can only really mean aircraft from GW1, GW2 and the Balkans or have I missed any?

I suppose it’s all too late to move the whole caboodle to Bicester, and make a proper Museum, with the ability to drag them out, run them up and heaven forbid fly something?

I’d never heard of the Viggen being in the frame, however what a beautiful ‘if only’ moment I just had imagining them on regular training sorties through the Loop.
