:D:D Wow! Can ‘558 come and do some flypasts at Boscombe, pretty please?

At 1430 I saw a Tucano, what appeared to be non ETPS colour Gazelle (no idea of exact colour as sun was behind aircraft but might have been ZB625), Tutor and Basset heading out from Boscombe Down, at 1500 2 Alpha Jets flew the length of runway 05 (possibly took off together?) turned and flew away in approximately a westerly direction and at 1520 a Hawk flew out.

I am so peed off I didn’t know anything about this coming here until when I read it on net yesterday, I’d have been out with my camera and taken some lovely shots of her coming in and landing.

At 1235 a white (underside at least but it did look like it was topside too) Hawk with the edge of the wings red flew circuits at Boscombe Down. Does anybody know which aircraft this was and which unit flies with this colour scheme? A look at 150 Hawks on http://www.airliners.net showed mostly black, 1 of The Reds and a handful of foreign greys.

We ordered a new digital camera from Argos yesterday and received an e mail telling us the order has been dispatched. We read on and it will be delivered by DHL.
Several months ago we had an item delivered to us 3 days late after continually phonong DHL to chase up this item that we’d paid extra for to have delivered in 24 hours! 😡

Surely they can’t mess up twice in a row…

We checked on the parcel tracking earlier and the parcel was loaded on to a lorry at 1 o’clock this morning, we don’t know what time it left the depot but it is showing as ‘out for delivery’. This means we should get it today. :rolleyes:

About 5 minutes after the Blue and White ETPS A109 Power took off and flew away an all white helicopter that looked very similar, possibly slightly larger came in from the north and landed at Boscombe Down. Any ideas what aircraft it could be and who it flys with?

I spoke to someone who works at Boscombe (ETPS I think) and he said the current A109 was bought to give ETPS pilots experience flying modern helicopters with glass cockpits. A second has been bought to replace 2 of the Gazelles (white one I saw) and it is very likely 2 more will be bought very soon to completely replace the Gazelles on the ETPS.
