Its so true though, even over here the drivers are in way too much of a rush! Biggest issue we have is people driving too fast on icy roads and teens texting or talking on cellphones..

I watched IRT Deadliest Roads on History last night and it made me realise that the roads in the UK are incredibly safe in comparison! 😮

Finishing work at 12.30 today after starting at 6.30. I wasn’t expecting to finish until between 3 and 4 but was very pleasantly surprised as we worked our way around Portsmouth averaging about 1 drop every 20-25 minutes!:D

Thanks TeeJ, that code list is something else.

If does get called ‘Seeker’ then, can I claim it as my idea!:D

Copywrite it quick and the MoD will have to pay you for the privilege of using the name, you could make millions.
OK, maybe only a couple of quid given MoD’s dire financial situation but money’s money!

Sort of related to the camoflaged Harrier but what is the oldest Harrier still flying?

I took a Christmas wreath down to my dads grave today, two graves away was a new headstone for a 17 month old little boy.

I have been amazed by how much more things like this affect me now I have my own little boy. 🙁

Just thought this would be appropriate here, not just a special tail

    Shiny shiny! 😀

I felt like Robin Williams this morning as I was out walking between Bulford and Tidworth as a Bell 212 flew low over my head.
Unfortunately the orange hi-viz paint lessened this effect but you get the idea…?

Finding item A in rack or pocket holding items B in stores and supermarkets. From cards to clothing to books.
This is happening more and more and I find it really iritating. The sad part is I have begun to tidy up the rack and put it back in its right place.

A few days ago I went to Tesco in Amesbury and somebody had left 7 items from their trolley on the end of a check out after obviously deciding they no longer wished to buy them. The items I tend to find put back on to shelves in the wrong place is usually sweets or kids toys, thus setting a very bad example to the child that had picked up or was due to have the toy. 😡

I got to work on this aircraft and sit in the back during the engine run that followed this during my work experience at the SAOEU, Boscombe Down in 1993.

Four Harriers in VERY close formation over Helpston on approach to Wittering 15.30 6/12/2010.

(for us in Peterborough area nowadays – this is so rare an occasion it’s worth reporting!)

I had a job interview yesterday and over the interviewers shoulder was a large poster showing several pictures of Harrier GR1’s flying, even a four ship formation was shown.
    Sigh.
