How many spies have been in Argentina keeping a constant watch on the governmental goings on since 1982? Do people really think Argentina could launch an invasion fleet/ship to retake the Falklands and no one in this country would have any clue until it lands at stanley?

What is the SAM situation on the Falklands? If a number of AA units were placed around the coast I’m pretty sure they would surprise a few of the Argies should they attack!

I couldn’t find anything about an offer to Canada, but I did find this:

    Interesting item here: http://www.thunder-and-lightnings.co.uk/buccaneer/history.php

Excellent links with lots of info on the Buccaneer, cheers! 😀

After the cancellation of the Avro Arrow, Blackburn did drawings of a proposed fighter variant of the Buccaneer. And presented it to Canada.

    Voodoo

Do you have any links for this, it sounds like such a ‘way out’ idea! 😮

    How about the Blackburn Buccaneer
    FASTER, LOWER AND FURTHER!

It was a travesty when they took them out of service after GW1, I’m sure with a little TLC they could still be flying today. 😎

Whereabouts on The Plain did you take these photos? I often see Lynx and Gazelle flying around Larkhill and recently I’ve noticed a number of Sea Kings, and Chinooks (from Boscombe I believe), but I have yet to see a Merlin.

WOW, that looks much better than the F22, but then again Russian stuff tends to look better than western stuff in generally anyway! 😎

In the link it says that one of the features 6th generation aircraft will have is possible “morphing” capability, in what respect?

I have always thought a major part of US stealth capabilities is provided by the RAM that the aircraft are painted in, have the Russians managed to develop their own or have they reversed engineered some using recovered pieces from the F117 that was shot down in 1999 in Yugoslavia?

Is there a book out that is written by a/the female Tornado pilot about her experiences?

My favourite has always been Fawlty Towers. I can watch them over and over again and I still laugh my socks off!

I have all the episodes on DVD and like you I can watch them over and over again!
Did you know all of the various goings inside Fawlty Towers are (reputedly) based on things that John Cleese and other members of the cast have witnessed in their many years of travelling throughout the country.

I love watching Lee Evans and think his Bohemian Rhapsody DVD is his best but in the ones after that he started swearing quite a bit and that just took the edge of some of his funnier gags.

Swearing can be funny but not when it is swearing for the sake of it, as an increasing number of comedians seem to think.
