Steve,
can u tell me abt the flight profile of NSM which gives it 150 Km….. is it a fully sea-hugging cruise range or a high-lo range. Same abt the 180 Km Exocet.
BTW i think ur convinently ignoring some factors and banking upon the Helo based OHT for ur whole theory.
Klub can also be fired w/o that Helo support if the ship can find it, I think thats the same case with NSM. But the OTH gives the Klub and PJ-10/Yakhont to utilize its full potential is its range.
Nope for which one ?
Nope for which one ?
But by staying in international airspace, they are not violating anybody’s rights or sovereignty. The converse is true, that it is their right to fly in international airspace. The only reason other countries are not trying it on the US is they cant do it, not because of a lack of desire.
According to the international norm, a nation’s territorial air space extends 19 km from its coast line. The US is the ONLY exception and claims air space of 370 km from its coast line; any foreign airplane violating this extended air space is challenged or shot down by the US military.
and w.r.t that I’d like Russia, India , China and others to follow that line…. shoot down anyhing that cross 370Kms.
that same mentality as abt the air space can be seen in others too..like the resources and property that ur land have is only ur , but for Unkil, they stretch that a few thousands of Kilometers and hence the OIL all around trhe world is theirs.
The project is evaluated at 1.7-1.8$b. Delhi has already remitted the advance payment of $100m.
hmmmmm…… the Isreali’s who is not at all in financial crisis and gets all stuffs almost free had squeezed from India nearly or over $350million as the advance payment for Phalcon AWACS, the first of that will arrive only after 44 months ….. hmmmm..
well maybe disbanded not the correct word??… but it was to be disolved … hope thats correct.
well abt the Channel ….. that was the main reason that I believe the Soviet navy got locked in that area, I don know how many times the Soviet carriers ventured out of Black Sea except after the break-up.
It is indeed a D-328. 🙂
To ask you the airline would be impossible, there are no clues whatsoever. Just to let you know, it’s a Scot Airways aircraft.
hmmmmm again missed that one coz i had earlier resized the same pic to be posted for some guys …. my bad, but next time wont be so luck as the missed 2 one 😮
Sandy,
that one a B737??? or as said Bae-146, thats nose look too pointed for the later, but … earlier 737 also had a bigger nose… ..
k I go with Peter this time 😀

P-3C is a “vintage piece”!? Its flown by most modern Navy’s…..
the a/c in itself is a very old one and $100million plus is not worth it…. at the best h much life can u pull out of it with the gaurantee that no unfortunate incidents wont happen??
I’d say goin in for a new Boeing airframe with the equipment spec thats been given with P-3 would be the better one even though it might cost more. That wud provide u with a good airframe and wud only need to upgrade other equipments in the future.
As for the European part, hope they too go the Airbus way as that wud be the better one.
Are the Old cold war games back on again? lol
firsr of all it never ended except from the Soviet side, the fact that the west never intended to end it can be seen in the existance of NATO …. a deal which was done during that period which mentioned that NATO wud be disbanded. :dev2:
Its not just here that US has been doin stuff, but all along the Norther border with Norway in the forefront.
In addition to that US has all along moved very much near to the Russian border with the American chap in Georgia (who have been living off on Moscow’s almost free oil) who again was a close aide of the man who brought down the Soviet Union – yup Gorbachev.
Now what the US has gained is an all out ‘closeness’ to Russia and will now have score of patrol a/c in that area.
Also look out in the future for modifying the 1934 or 1936 or 1939 (which one?, i am confused) treaty which bars the entry of carriers into Black Sea area … where by American carrier cud sneek in there for the Georgian $astard and for the OIL thats flows throw that area. :dev2:
and have u guys heard of BEGGERS CAN’T BE CHOOSERS??
if yes, thats only valid partially….coz when BEGGERS BECOME CHOOSERS, THEY BECOME THIEFS! :dev2: :dev2:
thats what America reflects, they simply don have any decent natutal resources what they uses lavishly and for keeping up that arrogant usages, they STEAL from all over the world. :p :p :p
Y not Raptor itself them … but w/o the ‘extras’ for $100+million …..
But a problem being that the extra that USAF mentioned was the engines.
Hey sorry man, i was not bashing Google…. sorry google if u felt that way.
But i can’t tell the same way abt the GOOGLE, who is throughy controlled and gets only those links which the owner like guys like me to see.
Krypton simply don have the range of the Klub or PJ-10/Yakhont.
Srbin,
the Klub is subsonic untill the last 60-70 Kms
Google, frankly i am tired of u putting all ur eggs in the Janes basket….y don u ever understand that they are not the last word….. there are many guys who blindly believe them …. not saying that with regards to the Akula affair.
IAF still has a need for MiG-31 for that high altitude recc,is what i believe, as Satellites and UAVs are not gonna give u the kind of stuff that the MiG-31 can do.
Say for instance, the MiG-31 is doing high altitude penetration and is watching and sees that a N-missile is being readied for launch ….. its then that the new 9 tonne warload comes into play as it wud be able to clear the stuff from there itself w/o any time delay.
And for that role, obviously it will have to be spiced up with RAM , etc etc…..
