Cameron has followed Labour’s lead and actually done the right thing. It took a bit of prompting though. If Labour hadn’t taken the lead, the Tories would tried to bury this then make an embarrassing U-turn a few weeks later. That appears to be what they’re good at.

Labour were not trying to gain a few political points then!!!

I have always regarded the News of the World as the Sunday edition of The Sun. Therefore if the Sunday Sun does appear, it will merely be a name change! They will probably use the same staff!

If this does happen the British public and the advertisers should boycott it!

Good riddance to one piece of gutter press that we can do without!

I suppose the great unwashed will almost certainly switch to the Sunday Mirror!

I remember the Stavanger disaster and it must be one of saddest events in the history of commercial aviation!

My apologies for the slight distortion of the facts.

However the report did state “just yards from the end of the runway at Gatwick Airport”. I am not sure how many yards the landing strip is from the end of the runway.

But therein lies the crux of the problem Anne.

Some people think there can only be one judge of a persons actions whereas others are only too happy to appoint themselves judge, jury and executioner.

Yes but if you are confronted by 4 hooded men in the dead of night in your own home with your family around you, not knowing whether or not they are armed, you wouldn’t exactly offer them a cup of tea!

I agree, in the Middle East if they catch a thief, they cut off his hand.

Strangely enough, you never see anybody walking round minus a hand!
