I can’t, but I’m damn sure that I’ve seen a photo of the wing somewhere, that I recognised as the same wing, and can I find it…

That’s the furthest the Wren has been off the ground for years…

Like that, Moggy, Merry Christmas to you too!

Bob – coat!
Adrian
Late off the mark, Andy! Though the title doesn’t encourage easily making the connection.

I seem to recall it was a different sort of buzz that really worried the Typhoon pilots, but Tim has a large family so I think we can put that myth to bed!
Adrian
Absolutely. The Diary threads are some of the highlights of this forum, and I’d like to say a huge THANK YOU! to the men on the fence who keep us informed.
A very merry Christmas to you all!
Adrian
Oh heck, that sounds nasty, should we send round some milk stout and grapes, do you think?
Adrian
Oh dear, I hope he doesn’t think we’ve forgotten him…
I hope you have had a very happy birthday, Tim!
Best wishes,
Adrian
It would be interesting, and probably quite scary, to know what the margins are for something like Legends. I suspect that they have to get huge numbers of people through the gates because the margin on each ticket is so small.
I don’t know whether anyone else caught it, but there was a gardening programme on recently that visited someone growing chrysanthemums on an industrial scale – they literally have millions growing at any one time, for the supermarket trade. So they’re coining it in, right? They stated that they got back 3p from each pot, at £2.50 in the supermarket. That’s right – three pence. While most planes at Legends are not delicate flowers (the DrI tipped over by the Sea Fury maybe an exception?), I can’t help feeling that the business model depends on a LOT of people buying tickets to make anything on it.
Adrian
Hmm. It doesn’t tell us much, does it?
Adrian
Doesnt have a place on this forum as far as I am concerned
Feel free to come back when you’ve found a sense of humour. Or started a better forum.
Personally, well, it gave me a good smirk, so no complaints here.

Maybe they’re building a Stirling, and it will only fit that…:dev2:
Adrian
Thank you, Baz, even after nearly 16 years the information you can find through this forum astounds me!
