😀 I can see the look on my wifes face if i did this 🙂
Tell her it’s a lifetime’s supply of Daz?

4-methylimidazole is a sugar (lactose or galactose, I think) derivative anyway, I can’t see that it’s much worse than anything created by roasting malt… which, is after all, creating interesting and unspecified flavoursome sugar derivatives, just by another means. Suddenly I get an itch to run malt through a mass spectrometer to see what’s in it!

Surely not…. Photoshop?

I can confirm, however, (referencing Moggy C’s non-flight) that I enjoyed my flight in the Spitfire from Goodwood immensely! 😉
You can go right off some people…

Ooops…. well, that’s me put in my place! In my defence, England’s only beavers are on the River Otter, easy mistake to make.:o

That looks like a very well packed museum! Some really interesting display setups too.
Nice (DeHavilland Canada) Beaver, by the way:angel:

Aye.
She even gave her name to my parent’s cat – they arrived at the same time as a Duxford airshow report in the EADT, and became Hellcat and Bearcat!

Great insights so far. Every single BoB documentary I see on tv makes the matter-of-fact statement that the RAF was near to being defeated only to be relieved by raids on cities. This is an obvious oversimplification.
I think you’ll find that Stephen Bungay shares your opinion on this as well. If you haven’t read his book, The Most Dangerous Enemy, you should. It’s a very interesting, very different take on the story of the BofB.

What’s the thing apparently hanging off the starboard side of the fuselage? I wondered if it was a target winch, suggesting a composite image, but can’t find a picture of a Mossie tug carrying one.

Regarding Arquebus posting THAT clip, can I just say how nice it is to see one that isn’t a fifteenth generation copy – it’s the first time I’ve ever seen it and been able to make out Sally B in the background!

Anyone else see the Ambassador in the snow, and think “Munich”? Also ironic to see Sir John Franklin adrift in an icy waste again…

The big yellow tractor is a Marshall MP6…

No, Alzheimers are a different shape, it’s definitely a window!:stupid:

Looking at the placement of the intake to the side of the main one on this pic, I reckon Brian is spot on.
