Here is an idea where the SOLAR EAGLE orbital carrier and the MINIKITE fighters could be used for.
In global scale to fight the injustice confronted by the smaller good willing less armed nations from their evil neighbours with appetite for destruction.
I think 2 units like this could have stopped the hunger in Biafra and ended the bloody war in a month !
UN would have to be equipped with tools that are much higher stardard than any single nation in order to be able to carry out this kinda missions….anywhere anytime !
:eagerness:
Here we go again !
In order to fly Mach 2+ anywhere below 30 km it has to look a bit like this.
Also to get the RCS to 0.001 niveau the form gotta be close to this.
Now it can have 2 x hot seats too.
No radar.
Prop thrust 10.2 kN, but rocket power risen to 30 kN.
Mtow 4500 kg.
The landing gear arrangement allows it to take off and land to snow covered lakes.
My condolences as well. Horrifying disaster like Sknyliv and Rammstein.
Here is a remarkable pusher that could have changed the game if approved by the FAA.

What I am proposing above is more reliable than LF 2100 ( supposedly ) since the geared system was not approved to run a single fan with two engines.

I issued a new max wingloading for this…it requires a rocket assist on take off.
This needs precision to operate…other vise there can be a collateral damage.
Does a 125 kg bomb damage a tank ?
Some tweaking was left to do ( to make it supersonic ).
Here are the specs for the world’s first piston/rocket powered hybrid fighter.
Anyone interested to co-operate on this ?

I can’t help it…it grows all the time.
This is the real deal…numbers look good.
Added some tailvolume to it….maybe needs flaperons to work as well.
Here is how much more efficiency is increased by just a little more span !
This may explain why He-162 glided like a brick..killing several pilots.

I forgot to add the small 9 kN rocket thrusters power to the prop thrust earlier…after all this is a hybrid..and beats F-16 hands down.
Just kidding…it can only maintain that power around 180 seconds and after that it is on its prop engines and at very lite max 5 kN / ton power to weight ratio.
😀
One clear difference this MINIKITE has over jets…the weight distribution is completely different…CG is much more forward.
I think I keep it as a two seater ..the forward sitting guy is the driver and weapons officer sits at the rear.
Yeah, page 1:
What was the magic thickness number? 5mm, tee-hee!!
That is not bullet proof is it …5 mm ?
Here is the 500 000 000 euro space ship little closer.
You can see the difference in thinking.
Star Eagle ( after jettisoning the wings the rocket is lit and craft changes to Star Eagle from Solar Eagle ) has 3 times more lifting area than Space Shuttle but only 15 000 kg empty weight at landing ( shuttles were 100 000 kg ). So it starts to brake already at 150 000 meters altitude and slows down to 7 000 km/h much earlier before shuttle starts to glow red ( 79-48 km altitude ) when shuttle still went 28 000 km/h.
This is a good brief history to modern combat aircraft designing; http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x21xntf_building-the-su-27-the-best-fighter-jet-in-the-world_news
I am not trying to explain that a small aircraft with 1/1 power to weight ( kN/kg ) ratio can beat all others at any altitude, but certainly cause a headache….::)
