I dont know where George Cull got his engine from. After the working for the Aeromodeller, he work at british Aerospace at Stevenage i think! I havent seen or heard from him in over 20 years.

Yes thats right. We had to inspect the Kite for them Its all ok. You should see it flying soon.

I saw the end of the flypast as i drove over to Halton yesterday. Good flying display. The Miller Rapide looked nice. A good day out. Cost nothing to park or get in. Shame about the weather today! So went and played with Shuttleworth’s new toy.

We have an EoN primary glider rudder laying around. It should be about the same as an SG38, as it is the british verson. Shuttleworths SG38 is an EoN Primary.

Many thanks for kind words. I also have to thank my son, Paul who has helped on the Grunau restoration. We looked through the old RAFGSA DI book. It was last DI in May 1968! When it got badly damaged at Bicester. So it hasn’t flown for 43 years. We where given it by the late Harry Chappel 20 years ago. Another photo of Willy landing our Grunau after its first flight in 43 years.

The Grunau’s ID was RAFGSA 380. It was doped sliver, which was very hard to remove.

I was lucky enough to see one flying a few times in 2009. I was at Planes of Fame, Chino. When a Mars was fighting fire’s near bye.
