That looks like the T21 with enclosed cockpit, that i had my first glider flight at Bicester in 1969.

Thank you John, one of the other photo’s was of Marcels Habicht glider. The others are of a DH Dragon, Lysander, Hurricane and Hawker Fury.

The huts at London Gliding Club where ex WW1. The Beecroft estate at Dunstable was started with POW labour just after WW2. A farmer at Slapton, Bucks had Luftwaffe labours working for him. In Heminingford Abbotts, Cambs a barn was thatched by German POWs. Just out of Woburn there was a WW1 German POW camp.

Still need to work a bit. Got a Grunau Baby 11b on the go, then the Luton Minor and both Kirby kites, Plus the Hawkridge Dagling. So have to pay for them some how.

Its the one left over from the two wrecks that went into build BGA310. Mike Maufe and his son Tony got BGA 310 and BGA 327. The fuselage is in to parts, already to put together. The tailplane and elevator came of BGA310, it has the rounded trailing edge. Both BGA310 and BGA 327 where built in 1937.

I have just got another Kirby Kite 1 fuselage, rudder, tailplane,elevator and struts from yorkshire yesterday. So it now looks like i have to build two sets of wings!

Very nice photos. But i would not class them as early RAF aircraft. I still remeber them like that!
