I beleive there are a few piece’s of the Bleriot in the Dover museum. As it broke its propellor and undercarrage on landing at Dover. I also have a small bit of the prop.

Looking at the Profile Publications on the SE5 and SE5A it seems that many of them came out of the factory without fairings behind the cockpit.

I have a friend who spoke to Eric ‘Winkle’ Brown and he got Eric to sign a book confirming that he flew the Komet with the engine working.

A nice piece of fabric you have there. I have some fabric of a DH10 and the rudder stripes of an Avro 504k.:)

In the book ‘Airsrews for Models’ 1942. There is a photo of de Havilland props that are bent. The caption says, Two badly damaged metal airsrews return to the factory for repair. About 80 per cent of such “casualties”are capable of being made fit for service again.

Some Stirlings where cut up at Woburn. Many where stored their during the war. You can still find small parts laying around, if you know where to look.

When i was involed with the late Mike Russell of Russavia Collecting parts for the Dragon G-ACET. There was rumour’s of a center section of a DH86 some where. I dont think ever turned up! But there was a lot of talk by a few people to build a DH86 to fly.

My dad built a small workshop in his garden 30’x20′ in his garden which he has some gliders in and a Tipsy Nipper fuselarge he is covering. The down side of that is my Minor fuselarge is back home in the garage, but i have done some work on it, at last.
