    And who the heck has common sense? 😀

    OK, sorry, going out for a walk in the snow! 😮

    Hi Tay!

    France has snow? :confused:

    There’s no snow here (South England), and it’s a quite reasonable temperature too 🙂

    Enjoy your snow though 😀

    I doubt David Furnish travelled from Australia to Beverly Hills on a BAE 125. Maybe it was just an example image from the internet which turned out to be the Queen’s plane 🙂

    Actually this is the publicity stunt bit, that’s why they are being so loud about the proposal. They are fully aware the actual shirts will never be approved for use, so the next best thing is to be really public with the proposal. Talking about their proposal just gives them the publicity they want to distract the domestic population. Nobody gives a rats a$$ about their claim and they know it 😀

    EDIT, UK Shirt Slogan

    “We send our warmest greating to the people of Buenos Aires, Cordoba, Formosa! May the sun shine upon you!”

    They’ll know what we mean 😉

    Actually what swerve said is not nonsense at all. Whilst the UK could certainly attempt to block the deal, that’s not what was actually said. What was said was that Argentina would be very unlikely to procure Gripen because it has a very high British content. It’s difficult to think of a country that would be worse for Argentina to get a component like it’s primary fighter radar from than the UK.

    But with such a narrow category definition it’s easy to be “first”.

    The video is quite jokey, but the aircraft itself is a genuine aircraft by Dassault systems. BAE have produced similar systems. I’d guess the people at the RC shows are more capable at flying that type of RC aircraft than Dassault’s pilots are, since the latter are obviously more used to full sized aircraft.

    @mrmalaya
    But has the Gripen (any variant) been selected by the Swiss air force? It seems to be being implied here that it is an offer/entry to the competition, rather than the one selected and given the contract?
