hehehe…like I said, lotsa people can sell doors, door-to-door 😉 there are probably “thousands” of Boeings flying
with indian parts today 😉 and soon airbus 😉
NEW DELHI : India’s state-run Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has won a multimillion-dollar contract to export supplies to European air giant Airbus .
The 84-million-dollar contract covers the supply of parts for the Airbus A319, A320 and A321 aircraft, an Indian defence ministry statement said.
The statement expressed hope that the contract “will open new avenues of cooperation and lead to a long-term partnership with HAL” and Airbus.
HAL, based in the southern Indian IT showcase city of Bangalore, has also won contracts with Airbus’ arch-rival, US-based Boeing, manufacturing doors and other parts for the 737, 757, 767 and 777 planes.
HAL is in charge of most of India’s military upgrades. The company is developing an advanced light helicopter, light combat aircraft and a jet trainer for India’s armed forces and satellite launch vehicles for its space programme.

I believe the F-22 has highest T:W in combat condition and empty condition also ?
I think it could be 4000W = 4 kW…other radars have that kind of figure.
400W is too low.

they wont get to 2500 by 07. I think their goal is get to 1500, then use
the 8 initial order of a/c to make the 1500–>2500 journey in 2-3 yrs.
Its still hard to get from 150–>1500 in 3 yrs …almost 1 hr a day for next 1000 days sustained. PV2 and PV3 need to be online asap, flight durations increased, AAR used and perhaps some creative ways found to reduce the
# from 1500.
all jmho.
PLA, I doubt any airborne radar has 400MW 🙂 that’d need a big old powerplant strapped on its back.
the CDG can sustain a higher sortie rate because I think it can do
simultaneous takeoff and landing as the catapult takeoff run is a lot
shorter than the STOBAR run which overlaps the landing run.
so Crobato, which has the better specs RC400-p or the S7-p ?
feel free to post it …I dont see how or why it should arouse a flame war.

The ADS is expected to be of similar shape and weight, displacing
40,000
metric tons and measuring 57 meters wide and 252 meters long. Its top
speed
will be 32 knots. It will carry 1,200 sailors and 18 combat aircraft,
including Sea Harrier jump jets and MiG-29K fighters, and 10 Advanced
Light
Helicopters.
well I think other italian websites arent so hot either. I was trying to read
up on stuff like EMPAR and RAN40L and all I got were tiny thumbnails
and a few one liners from the makers AMS.
I second that opinion, having read most of his works over the years.
one of his traits, not unlike some members here, is taking a report from
say 1996 and applying its conclusions to present circumstances.
I dont think he just lazy, but biased.
do the drug smugglers use boats in the amazon area rivers ?
I see this nice vision of a Super Tucano flying low over the water
ripping away with machine guns and rocket pods at a drug steamer!
the vikrant which was 15,000 tons onlee did have a steam catapult in early part of career to launch alize and seahawk planes.
used them in the raids on bangaldeshi ports in 1971 for example.
but NLCA/Mig29 are much heavier. Problem is with a marine
gas turbine like LM2500x4 how do you produce the reqd amts of
steam on a 24×7 basis ? CVNs have steam turbine propulsion so
for them extra steam is always cheap to get.
A separate steam plant would need to be installed.
Airpower, there is no need for caustic comments. They are a Huey derivative but that only means they are well proven design.
black cat or white cat so long as it catch mice it is good cat.
