All 146’s should be dispatched to NY. They’ll get about a third of the way accross and then run out of fuel and ditch. End of 146 problem. QED. Don’t know why I didn’t think of that! I wonder if they could pursuade some ATP’s to go?
Well it’s a possibility. It would provide an opportunity to check the prop arc is clear before starting. The other 2 engines could be checked visually.
Yes I saw that too. I thought it was very fitting bearing in mind it’s probably the last time the cricket cameras will ever show it from the Oval.
Interesting to see in the second picture the concave mirror at the front of the engine cowl. On light twins this is provided to do a visual check of nosewheel extension but I can’t imagine what it would be for on a Ju52!
I’ve done some 757 aerobatics in the sim! Unfortunately every time you go past 40 degrees bank the GPWS shouts ‘bank angle’ repeatedly at you which is a bit distracting.
Brilliant with just enough difference from the usual photos posted here
High prices keep the riff raff out, don’t you find!

In the industry it’s the 737-200 referred to as the Scud (low flying, short range, old technology).
ATP – Another Tech Problem
146 – One Four Sick/Tonka Toy Galaxy/Glider with 5 APU’s
Thanks Wannabe. It’s a real buzz for me to know that people get a buzz from what we do.
It is possible to visit the flightdeck on the ground when the engines are shut down but that is very dependent on how busy the crew are. Could the inflight pictures on a.net have been taken by the crewmembers themselves? If not, it could be from airlines flying under much less restrictive jurisdictions.

Sorry Charley/Lynda but neither of those were me. There are about 34 TCX Boeing crews at LGW so that makes the odds about 34:1 by reckoning. The fact that there are usually 2 flights cuts those odds to 17:1.

Thanks WD, keep the air to air and air to ground shots coming.
