[updated:LAST EDITED ON 28-11-02 AT 00:36 AM (GMT)]oar-re-knee (said slowly) if you’re from Guernsey or Alderney, if you’re from Jersey it’s oar-a-knee (said quickly)!

T5 – From the fact that the aircraft is on a stand I would imagine that is an engineer doing an ‘A’ check, which is a daily inspection.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 27-11-02 AT 11:53 PM (GMT)]Thanks Andrew. Don’t forget that SkyCruiser is currently an Aurigny Saab pilot. I also notice that the Saab (G-RUNG) had an unpainted radome on it when the picture was taken.

I was wondering about the Sun Express 747. I havn’t seen any 747’s on the Thomas Cook inventory. Haven’t we just had a comet tail pass us in the last week?

RE: Help me catch my mouse

    [updated:LAST EDITED ON 27-11-02 AT 10:32 PM (GMT)]Update at 2220 hours.

Neither trap triggered during the day but both pieces of cheese have been taken by the enemy. New tactics now being employed, results will be reported after dawn. Still using ‘Horlicks Farm extra mature cheddar’ but now several smaller pieces on the trap so they have to make more attempts to get it all. Also, cheese is pushed onto the trap so they must exert more effort to remove it.

    I’m feeling confidant about tonight.

PS older cat is on guard duty, younger cat is asleep with the wife in bed. Shift change probably around 2am.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 27-11-02 AT 02:05 PM (GMT)]Hand – would you suggest a nice ripe Camembert? It might make the trap a bit sticky. Gruyere perhaps?

Empty 737’s and BBJ variants have almost zero payload so therefore they can fill the tanks and go for miles. Put a normal passenger load on board and you’ll be swimming the second half of the journey. A 757 is currently about the smallest airliner capable of crossing the pond with a normal passenger load.

That should be PATEL rather than PALEL. Patel is the transition (on that routing) between Spanish and French FIR’s. The transition from French to English FIR is SALCO.

That is just one of many routes between Malaga and Manchester.

Trap number 1 chalked up its first kill last night with a bit of help from the gourmet bate ‘Horlicks Farm extra mature cheddar’! The kill has been notched up on the side of the trap.
