That guy in the middle looks like he is getting on well with her lol

Chris (the gut in the middle) is now a purser for Thomas Cook at Gatwick. He’s been flying now for over 20 years. He’s a lovely guy and to use an airline term ‘he’s more Martha than Arthur’ (if you know what i mean)!!!

Expect a sudden surprise announcement from Virgin. All I can say at the moment. It may not be what you expect!

Here’s a picture of my sister-in-law in her old Cally uniform. She’s the one on the left.

Forget anything you read about the politics or economics in the press. They are a good operator with great staff. You don’t need anything more than that.

A320 is similar in performance to a 737NG except in the climb above about FL200 where the 737 has the advantage. The 320 has the advantage making approaches on foggy days as it can make no decision autolands in 75 meters vis whereas the 737 requires a 50′ decision height and 200 meters visibility. On the whole not much in it really. The interior fit is down to the operators specifications although I wouldn’t expect much difference between a charter and a low cost.

I also used to fly an Auster 5 at WW. Now that wasn’t a happy memory! Dreadful aeroplane. I’m sure the other marks of Auster must have been much better. Richard Newns flew it once with me in the back and he never went near it again!

It’s generally considered a little sad when people have to tell there jokes more than once 😉

Well, unfortunately there are plenty of brain dead, obsessed airbus fans who think the sun shines from the APU exhust of airbus, out their that will call it beautifull.

It used to be so great to talk aviation with you Sandy but now nobody gets a chance to get a word in edgeways!

Anyway coming back to the point…I also think it is a true eyesore but as with all things Airbus we’ll have to see what happens with sales over the next 10 years. It might look better if it was longer. Can you give us a stretched version Matthew?
