I am still interested to know when you got this concept drawing as when I sent the 146-300 MPA concept question to BAe Systems earlier this year I was told is was not on the cards

Yes, apparently the 146 has been looked at/being looked at as a potential for a future maritime patrol aircraft using sensors that were meant for the Nimrod MRA.4 fleet. The concept drawing shows a modified Avro RJX-100 (non-stretched)

Buying low houred 146’s and converting them is surely too much of a sensible option for our government…. Mind you, we have just bought two from TNT (see below)

Northumbria UAS, RAF Ouston

I think I may have some pictures of WG474 at RAF Ouston separate from the pictures in the link below. Give me a couple of days to dig them out!!

Ohh, and by the way, the tail is not black but actually a dark blue on Northumbria UAS Chipmunks!

Would be nice to see Phantom FGR.2 XV470 moved from the dump, restored and put on display outside the museum!!

The ‘Blue Cross of Death’ as it was known was part of a disarmament agreement with the Russians. It allowed their satellites to see how many aircraft were being disposed of!
