Had a flick through some books and discovered that there was a BDRT airframe in use at Coltishall – F6A XF386.
Its service role could explain the missing wingtip.

Possibly on its way to Everett Aero, Ipswich perhaps?

I’m with OAG on this one, seriously consider Abingdon as a alternative andrewman 🙂

Is that a Breitling Fighters crest on it?

Yes indeed it is. BWGL was flown at a few displays with OFMC in Europe when under their ownership.

Being picky, that Hunter is in completely the wrong scheme, and it carries the wrong serial 😉

    Otherwise a awesome photo 🙂

Sorry David/Andrew for hijacking this thread with a Hunter Q!

Do the Boscombe Down Museum still have their Hunter T.8?

I was waiting for that! You’re right, it isn’t! It was WV794, which no longer exists. WV795 was in the line also which still survives in Scotland.

Thanks Albert. Now do you have any photos of WV908 taken at Halton 🙂 😉

That isn’t the RNHF’s Sea Hawk WV908 behind the RAF 118 Sqn Hunter?

Being an ex-Iraqi Fury, I always thought it curious why it has folding wings!
Was this a modification that was carried out during it’s time in the USA?

It’s highly likely that VZ345 will never fly again, unless her current fuselage is rebuilt from scratch.
