She’s still stored outside with tarpaulins applied everywhere.
There is no chance of it ever flying again, due to a paperwork shortage.

They landed back at Yeovilton after their display. The Sea Hawk was then towed back to the RNHF hangar, possibly for some maintenance work?

Are any of those aircraft still in the same ownership now?

The Sea Hawk didn’t fly today but should be flying tomorrow with the Sea Fury 🙂

I think aside from the RNHF there are only two airworthy.

Interesting stat. The last time a Sea Fury and Sea Hawk were flown together was 1986 🙂

Why Not? The are scheduled to fly at Biggin Hill around 1700 on Saturday, which will probably mean they will fly at Yeovilton early on in the flying programme, then go straight to Biggin and nitestop there ready for their Sunday slot which is around 1545.

I think that is how it will go 🙂

I think if all goes to plan they will display at both Yeovilton and Biggin this weekend 🙂

Just back from Yeovilton now and WV908 was flying once more on a test flight.
It also flew a short display practice 🙂

I believe that they have switched to electric – unfortunately 😉
They were giving it high power ground runs last week – no mistaking that growl 😀
