The only jet in the UK that can do a proper Blue Note is Kennet’s Hunter F6A XF515. Peter Hellier’s F6A XF516 and the former Boscombe machine did do it perfectly before their accident/retirement.

Hunter T.7 G-VETA can also emulate a blue note of such due to some modifications in her gun ports.

Must admit though that the Meteor F8 was the champion ‘noter’ 🙂

If so it’ll give them a bit more time to sort out any snags that may pop up with engine runs etc.

Are there many Centaurus powered Sea Furies left in the US ‘srpatterson’, in particular any T.20s?

OFMC accumulated eight Hunter F-58s over a four year period during the 1990’s. Only three of them have been active on the airshow circuit since 2000, J-4090, J-4058 and J-4021.
