Always nice to see 326 in its old camouflaged scheme.
Must have been taken before pre-1984 as I can’t see any D-Day stripes on the wings or fuselage
Thanks for posting it 🙂
Great pics by all 🙂
You can see a Meteor T.7 from the Vintage Pair in the background of the Harvard pic. It always interesting to see what is captured in the backdrop of old airshow photos 🙂
Keep them coming 🙂

Yes they have a F8 Meatbox. They was a photo of the jet in a magazine about a year ago. Cannot remember if it was being re-assembled, restored to static or rebuilt to fly.
Great news!
Here’s a pic of XL584, one of three aircraft painted up as an Admirals Barge…
Not good quality, I must get around to re-scanning it.

Also below is a photo of the T.8M – this example was in service with RN 899 Sqn (the Sea Harrier training Squadron). The photo was taken in the early 1980’s, just after delivery to the Squadron.
(C) Martin Morley.

Corgi chose the 738 Sqn colours as it was the most colourful (and exciting) Royal Navy GA.11 scheme.
If they branch into the T.7/8 market they will hopefully do an Admirals Barge or a T.8M 🙂

The Blue Herons!

I grew up close to RNAS Yeovilton at a time when the base was home to Wessex, Sea Herons, Sea Devons, Chippies, the six-ship RNHF (two Furies, Firefly, LS326, Sea Hawk and their Tiger Moth) and of course those FRADU Hunter and Canberra things. 🙂 😉
Sadly the darkness setting is not new. Night vision goggles are essential to view the FAAM Carrier exhibition at Yeovilton 🙂
Have to agree with Steve, the blue note from Winston was outstanding 😀 😎

…is from Ben Roger’s superb Duxford times site and contains some photos of G-BTTA.

It is in the final stages of re-assembly and will be back at Yeovilton soon, enabling VR930 to put her face back on 🙂
Now there’s a man that talks sense 🙂
All the racers should at least give all their Centaurus’ back, well they’re all surplus to requirements now aren’t they?! 🙂 😉

The RNHF Fury will be back next year if things go to plan with the engine.
The Bradshaw Fury does not fly very often anymore, which is a shame considering the superb condition it is kept in by its owner John Bradshaw. The prop is gorgeous 🙂
It is thought that the former OFMC Sea Fury D-CACY is under restoration somewhere in the UK for Kermit Weeks.
