Should this forum be used for this type of discusion?, I think not, who are we to judge whatever the circumstances.

    John.

Im not going to get into a debate about the “who dunnit” side of things, but as a parent I will comment about the leaving a child. My stepson is 5 in a couple of weeks, and my partner and I have never gone out and left him alone and I can not for the life of me fathom how any parent could go out for a meal and leave children unattended, let alone in a foreign country. Still cant get my head round that one. Bex

Efiste, my sister (who worked for RAF & USAF as a sillyvillian) has informed me we nuked Christmas Island with an air launched Nuclear device. I knew we’d only dropped one, but didnt know where 😀 But as I said before Im pretty sure the Valiant at Cosford is the one which dropped the weapon. I hope it is, coz Cosford is on my wish list LoL. I think you’ll find the cockpit shot is in a Victor, certainly the rear section with the Nav Radar.

Ah cheers Robert, I missed that bit thanks. Bex

I dont recognize it, but its combination of 2 different Vulcans & a Valiant. The Nuke is being loaded into the Valiant, followed by a white Vulcan scramble with a flick over to a camo one with landing lights on then back to the Valiant nuking whereever it was. I would hazard a guess the Valiant is the one that dropped our nuke and is now at Cosford, but I sit here awaiting to be corrected by a more knowledgable person or persons 😀 Bex

Thanks for the advice Paul, but as Ive nearly finished it it doesnt matter. Also Im swapping my other 1:72 Jag kit for a F4C so I can copy another original real bird. But, if someone wants a Pussy Cat Jag and cant get the decals, drop me a PM and Im sure I can be persuaded to do another. This ones an Xmas present for my childminders son so I cant even offer it for sale.

Thanks Bigvern, oh the only other thing I couldnt do was the Sqn badges on the tail, Im afraid theyre just small blobs of gold paint with a tiny blob of light blue. I thoguht I was gonna make a right pigsear of it, but Im impressed with it so far. Bex

    Bex,

You might be interested to know that Model Alliance are releasing the decals for this aircraft in both 1:72 and 1:48. Look here and scroll down a bit for info.

Mind you, they bound to be fiddley so perhaps you excellent efforts at hand painting are the way to go but it isn’t something I’d take on in a hurry – well done, looks good!

    Chris

    Hi Chris,

Thanks for the link, I wondered how long it would be before decals came out but having done a 1:72 tigermeet RF4E with decals I thought Id try by hand and to be honest, my Jaguar looks a darn sight better LoL

SO far the Jag has taken nearly a month, just got 2 white cirlces to do then all the painting is done. Thanks for your kind comments.

Just Jane allows pax for taxi runs, this is the ultimate for the Merlin fan, but I would assume (Rightly or wrongly) the Pantons would allow Jane to be made airworthy if something awful happened to City of Lincoln. Bex
