Considered electrifying the fence, or buying a rotweiler, but this was met with incredulous looks and being handed my coat. Bex, you’ll know all about coats, doors, goats and a dog which cannot be named…..:D

LoL well the goats ate me coat and I tripped over that dog that cannot be named trying to run thru door 😀

Ah beautiful pic, 2 of the most beautiful aircraft ever built Cranberry & Tin Triangle tee hee. Well can certainly see how close the footy field is though. Ok this may seem a daft question to some, but, would barbed or razor wire be a deterrant to the oiks? Or is there some loony liberal leglislation that gets in the way? Bex

Flag Officer, thanks for highlighting this, I like the rest of you think this is disgusting (id like to use slightly more colourful words but I think the mods might get upset 😀 ) As you all know my dad stayed there, and ok dad lived in Croydon and me in Crawley so really the travelling wasnt too far but other troops who were there must had family hundreds of miles away so something like this house would be a Godsend. Ok the £1.7 Mil could have been spent on other troops but, as we all know, theyre poorly looked after as it is when theyre fighting fit, let alone when injured in any way shape or form so I think the house would be a great idea.

I cant believe some of the comments I read in that article, I mean saying “a wheelchair poses a fire risk” what planet is that person on? I hope they never have a family member in one, God help the poor soul. Putting it bluntly, the attitude of those residents makes me sick.

Ok toys back in pram now. Bex

Well reading this thread daily, Id say that LL & the gang at NEAM are doing a remarkable job and things are looking promising very quickly. When I get a chance to head up there for a visit, I wouldnt mind getting my hands dirty for the day if possible.

Jon, you have one advantage with CF being in bits, u fix anything thats broke alot quicker LoL. Bex

You gents are all taking the michael here arent you?. This thread smacks of the purest kind of Monty Python humour I’ve seen in a very long time.

‘How much of an MRE detonation does it take to scare a goat’ does seem to be close in on par with how many African Swallows it would take to carry a coconut?. Messrs Cleese, Palin etc couldnt do any better than you lads if you really are being serious here!.

As to the intent to harm the goat I’d suggest you watch this, hideous, traumatising clip again and watch the bit were the US Marine starts throwing things at the goats to chase them away from their little IED!. That is of course if the evil US Marine isnt infringing the rights of the goat to stand wherever it pleases in its own country!!!. Good grief!

I have been known for my Forwith Extraction of the Micheal now and again but just coz its a goat doesnt mean it deserves a bomb under its bum so a soldier can have a chuckle.

Steve, I would have watched your video, except there was one slight technical hitch to that plan, er no link ol chap. :diablo: Bex
